Personally, I doubt the movie will even be a thing. What's the ratio of announced to cancelled star wars projects again? This reeks of Kenedy desperately trying to claim to have another project and have her contract extended again. If the new Indiana Jones bombs like it seems set to, I'll be shocked if she stays at Disney much longer.
I enjoyed Phule's Company, which was a series about basically space mercenaries with the titular Captain Phule leading one of the companies. Said group of mercs were the misfits from the rest of the mercenary army, with each not fitting into standard military life in various ways. Not exactly a huge space epic, but it's a fun underdog series.
Man, I'm of mixed emotions about Starfield. On the one hand, skyrim/fallout in space is the kind of thing that makes me want to give someone my money. On the other hand, I am very wary of anything bethesda after the debacle of fallout 76. Even if they show literally everything I want, I'll still be waiting for the full edition with all the dlc included. Not just to save money, but to also give modders plenty of time to actually fix the game, too.
I'll just shamelessly plug my own story about a guy who reincarnates as a dungeon
The Pharaoh remake on steam. It was apparently quite a mess at launch, but the latest patch makes it feel about as buggy as the original, which could also be a bit of a mess at times. Probably worth it to wait for it to go on sale, unless you're jonesing for a taste of the OG.
Makes me remember the third Blade movie, where Dracula enters the vampire store. Then imagine, instead of him killing people, he just bursts into flame and ash from the cringe.
