Twitter is far more based now. Large majority in poll supports denying women the right to vote. (media.kotakuinaction2.win)

You have three types of women:

Those that have the critical thinking to vote but KNOW they are a minority so would rather sacrifice that in order to stop something worse until a better system is in place

Those that know it's been a bad decision due to the higher social conformity bias women have but can't bring themselves to admit it

Those that are so blinded by ego and ideology they NEVER see themselves as wrong and it's other peoples fault not that women are voting.

I'm actually going more to the side that we should replace Democracy with Mortal Combat, you want to pass a new tax law, you have to kill the treasurer in hand to hand combat! /s

I'm ok with females voting if they own property. It's not a perfect filter but they'd actually have a stake in society and property owners probably had a modicum of success. Also married couples tend to lean Right more if the woman votes with the husband.

Unfortunately your Blackrock types have removed this as an option for screening who can vote. I might say military service but we ALL see how compromised the military are.

No joke, it might be better if we literally do a battle royal for every election, just because all your establishment types always peach 'gun restrictions for your safety' as they have armed private security, you know they'd die first if we went battle royal for a seat.

8Military service would still be better, because while the officer corps is full of faggots the enlisted are 90%+ conservative. But do it starship troopers style, make it dangerous service that guarantees citizenship, not just anything. So firemen, combat jobs, etc - and remove all the bullshit jobs that could be handled by civilians.

If I remember the books right, years of work in sewage can get you citizenship too

That's not a bad thing as you don't see people volunteering for that position, those that 'make' the trash seem very hesitant in managing it afterwards..

It was stated that it's federal service for 2 years in which you can't vote and can quit anytime, in order to show that you are willing to undergo dangerous/tedious work to put the collective above yourself through your actions.

Tying it to the draft would do some good. Either women stop shitting up the country or they start getting drafted. Either is a win.

...if they own property. It's not a perfect filter but...

Unfortunately, a big part of the problem is just how many layers of incompetence and corruption we have stacked on top of each other. It's hard to get any effective measures to stop any of these societal issues, because the underlying system is so distorted.

Others already pointed out how broken divorce is, and how fucked the economy is, but a third issue to take into account is how anti-meritocratic the system currently is, in so many directions. Women are given so many more opportunities in education and employment, and the trend is just accelerating. You need a meritocracy, a fair playing field, if you're going to put conditions like property ownership on the table. As is, if the trends continue, women will likely be owning more property, and men less. Which would be fine in theory...if it was natural. If they were just outcompeting, well, that's how merit works! But that's not what's happening.

I have also often thought that the mechanics of parlement should include more opportunities for politicians to beat the stuffing out of each other.

Might weed out a few of the most spineless.

Twitter polls are not accurate representations of Twitter, let alone reality.

Yea, likes, comments and votes only represent the social circle of the original tweet.

Something people should keep in mind is the 19th isnt just about women, it guarantees universal suffrage. The problem is it made voting a right that everyone has instead of a privilege people have to earn.

Now make one that says to end women's suffrage, because women shouldn't be hurt, and see what the numbers look like.

Too much of a nuanced argument

I wish more people understood this. Twitter is a shit place to talk politics.
