And even then you may find yourself changing political positions over time as you gain experience and learn facts you never knew before.
The gaming industry is rough at the moment...
Which is the gaming industry's fault, Stevy. Try non-predatory monetizing of games built for gamers by gamers, Stevy. Try prioritizing fun, competitiveness and immersion over shouting at your audiences with a faux moral bullhorn, Stevy. If it were that way now, the majority of gamers would be lining up to buy Blizzard's next big game. The majority of gamers would be praising Ubisoft's string of hit releases probably.
And if you really want to make story-based games that have us reflect on our belief systems, then there are plenty of existing games and movies that can teach you how to do it effectively.
I never watched the series, but in almost 100% of the cuts I've seen from content creators, Gandalf has looked or acted like a deer in headlights. If he really is that way for even half the series, then I want to not watch it even harder than I did before.
I think NOAA changed their hurricane forecast to be a less active season at least once earlier this year.
September is peak active time; if we didn't have any hurricanes in the Atlantic, the soyentists would blame global warming for that, too.
And Bush caught holy hell for the Katrina response. Meanwhile Biden hasn't caught crap; in fact more criticism is being leveled at Kamala.
Just showing once again that, if you're a deep state democrat, going into hiding is a perfectly tenable strategy for a lot of things.
They ignore Psalm 2 at their own peril.
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Every video game isn't woke.
Exactly. There are plenty of good and bad games that don't push an agenda. The video comes off to me either as some butthurt guy who supports the agenda and is trying to redefine the word "woke" into meaninglessness, or clickbait in a sea of other videos calling games out for putting the agenda over good game design.
All the politicians do that. Everyone in Congress grew up in a middle class family with lower class hardships, don'tcha know? And they have accents and hot sauces to prove it.
I was waiting for the debate moderators to say they grew up in middle class families, too.
I used to live in Florida, and I've been through a few hurricanes and the inevitable "Gas station price gouging?" headlines that followed. No investigation ever turned up anything. It's economics, and it's what you get when a city effectively attempts to transfer its gasoline reserves from gas stations to vehicles at a large scale and rapid pace.
I bet the same people who always equate price hikes to gouging are the same people who would have their families top off every vehicle parked at the same house, fill plastic bags with extra gas (yes, I've seen videos of people doing this), then use their precious gas to go on drivable roads for a post-storm sight seeing tour.
This video could serve as inspiration for the next Assassins Creed plot: A hitman who goes after studio employees who spill the beans to content creators.
"How absolutely dare those peasants create something that I find personally offensive! Don't they know who I am? How important I am? That they threaten the entire social fabric of both our countries!? This cannot go unanswered!"
It must be challenging to be an objective historian trying to glean or share knowledge with the mainstream.
"Pardon me fellow historian, can you tell me where I can get raw footage of Hitler's speeches for my research?" "YOU NAZI BIGOT REEEEEE!!!!!!"
"Attention world: I just discovered additional evidence that Yasuke was not a samurai." "YOU RACIST BIGOT REEEEEE!!!!"
inb4 "They're justified in using bots to counterweigh all of the negative comments from racist bigots!"
This reminds me of the left trying to tell me I didn't watch a policeman waving people into the Capitol building on J6 during a livestream.
"The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." -- Orwell
And then ex-communicate anyone who did it out of desperation for acceptance and later wish they hadn't done it.
I stopped going to reddit and imgur (which is just reddit with pictures) full stop. Not going to reward either with traffic; not that they'd notice anyway.
I recall several occasions where co-workers, and their families by proxy, got sick because someone just couldn't bear the thought of staying home unless they were on their deathbed (in which case they would telecommute).
If you don't work every minute of your life until you die then you're not a man! And if you ever get sick or even sneeze once in your life then get out of the gene pool!
If I had the clout to be lead editor of Scientific American, I would immediately commission a special multi-issue edition over the replication crisis, the sad state of peer reviews and the influence of special interest groups on scientific journalism. And I would personally proofread and verify every article for objectivity and accuracy.
This would probably cause a wave of people quitting in protest, which is also part of my plan to replace them with editors who can put their politics aside.
"Here we see the Monarch butterfly gracefully circling a nectar source before feeding off it...like how white men feed off racism and bigotry..."
For fun and for morbid curiosity, I set up an account on an online dating service to see how I'd do. My profile was a 40-something who ran a small business (read betabux). I got at least one match every few days; almost all from women with kids. And of those matches, a quarter of them started the conversation (usually with the generic "how are you?").
Because my intention was just to see how often I would match with women and not to actually meet them, I'd see how long they could handle dry "nice weather we're having, how about that sports team?" conversation before they'd unmatch me. Usually all it took was a few days tops.
In the end, not a single one actually chased me down or even tried flirting with me first. Makes sense to me as they would be used to the guy being the one to do all the work.
Our elections are secure as in "democrats have secured supremacy of the federal government."
I'm surprised the page didn't start with "Rural purge is a debunked white supremacist conspiracy theory" like other wiki pages do when people notice things.
What could possibly go wrong?
I'd rather read about a plot where the safety of planet Earth was somehow tied into the Human Torch being denied a bank loan.
Hypothetical Strawman: "Neither candidate fully agrees with me on everything so I'm sitting this election out!"
Wow Hypothetical Strawman, you sure showed those candidates and sent ripples across the country! I bet they'll totally try to see things your way next time.
