I'm surprised they haven't already
I mean these people refuse to admit that Ivermectin is a Nobel prize winning drug and have just gone on to claim that it is only fit for animals and that there is no human version, based on the reactions to Joe Rogan's video
At least he keeps an eye on everyone in the room
I don't get why Reddit seems to be growing a spine now of all things.
What was the "reputable" site? They all seem like trash to me
I'm guessing he is either falling on this sword to avoid the nursing home deaths (personally I doubt because it seems like that is swept under the rug) or he has managed to piss off a more powerful democrat.
There was a time where I would read the KiA1 and KiA2 subreddits during lunch at work. I still remember there was one day where it seemed like the posts on KiA2 never ended and I was worried that I would go over my break trying to read KiA1, only to realize that KiA1 had not had any new posts since I had read it the day before.
I definitely agree that engagement is what makes a community work, and in a way KiA1 has killed themselves in that regard. I worry about KiA2 kind of bleeding out though, between the original split with KiA1, and then the split between reddit and .win, potentially resulting in users being spread too thin.
17 out of 100k. For comparison the general population is 13 out of 100k.
I don't know if there is something to this or if officer in the DC area are more likely to commit suicide, but I still have trouble believing these officers were bothered enough to commit suicide over a protest.
The Phantom GOP? We may already have that episode.
Jack (bald) and Josh (beard) are both woke. No idea about Tim. Jim is pretty left wing and hates Tucker Carlson. I don't know about Colin but I assume the same.
The main three are pretty good about keeping their politics off of the internet so it's harder to say. Mike at least used to be pretty conservative (I think kiwifarms dug up old posts he had made) and some people have speculated that he still is. If I had to guess though I would guess they're all normie-tier centrist/left leaning.
I've often wondered if he might be the same user from another media site I frequent. It's a remarkably similar dislike of women that I've seen between the two.
If they care this much about their appearance then maybe they should start. Of course they're just like any other corporation at this point. They don't care about actual human rights abuses as much as they do wrongthink
Beat me to it, this excerpt from the paper's own discussion section explains why the paper itself is bullshit.
While these results showed statistically significant increases in all sperm parameters, the magnitude of change is within normal individual variation and may be influenced by regression to the mean. Additionally, the increase may be due to the increased abstinence time before the second sample. Men with oligospermia did not experience further decline. The limitations of the study include the small number of men enrolled; limited generalizability beyond young, healthy men; short follow-up; and lack of a control group. In addition, while semen analysis is the foundation of male fertility evaluation, it is an imperfect predictor of fertility potential. Despite this, the study’s time frame encompasses the full life cycle of sperm.
How has the mob not come for this guy yet? I can't fucking wait for when they do
I don't want to get too into personal details, but I've worked with a lab that got into a "disagreement" with Eric Lander. I don't know if anyone else here has interacted more personally with him, but from my view point his work can be of variable quality, his papers deserve more questioning than they ever get, and listening to his talks he comes across as more of what I would call a "Celebrity scientist" who is interested in broad scale topics and big flashy papers/presentations, with not a lot of concern for details or substance.
I can't say I particularly trust the proposal or the man they have to guide it. I suppose that's par for the course with this administration however.
If the system wasn't broken, then yes. Honestly from what I saw of the trial I would say if the system wasn't broken then he never should have been convicted. However with the riots, Waters and Biden saying the things they did, and the plans for Feds to grab him, the system is clearly very broken, and he has no chance.
What I heard is that Destiny has been turning right (I don't watch him so this is just hearsay). I doubt his arguments were any more effective them when he was on the left but I imagine there's going to be a concerted effort to silence those who leave the left and they just picked an excuse
Apparently white people are no longer allowed to defend themselves
I fully expect it to be subverted in some manner. Either enough ballots destroyed to be inconclusive, or somehow it gets stopped.
I only read the first line of the headline before guessing the last bullet point
"If Trump wasn't so anti-illegal immigration, we wouldn't have to be so pro-illegal immigration, and we wouldn't have this problem!"
This is probably the last place this needs to be said, but these people are actively bragging that they're killing jobs
Let them burn the city to the ground. Then force them to live in the ash
Never underestimate the ability of "liberals" to demand more
Never underestimate the ability of "conservatives" to cuck out
I don't see it working. mRNAs are not very stable, and for this to work it seems like they would have to be stabilized. Sure they'll be relatively stable and continuously produced while the plant is alive, but they'll be degraded when it's dead, and on top of that the mRNA would have to survive cooking, stomach acid, and be absorbed in quantities large enough to be effective. It really just sounds like a waste of grant money to me
