After looking into it more, this guy was very smart. Every community he created around his mod was moderated by only him. He can't be kicked out of any of them. Had he made the mistake of letting well-intention-seeming associates in to mod his communities - he would have found himself out on his ass. Even his subreddit has only him as the mod.

The irony that all the left spaces will eviscerate you the second they find out you're a con, but the second a con does it to them they raise all sorts of hell.

Whoops, you dropped this hypocrisy, here can you take this when you leave?

"Cultural Marxism" that thing that was on wikipedia and well cited until JP uttered it, then it was edited to say it was conspiratorial?

Hurricane frequencies have decreased since anthropogenic warming started 140 years ago. This is because the atmospheric pressure up above puts a cap on the hurricane, which slightly lowers it. They say maybe 4 or 5 hurricanes were averted because of this.

The sexual revolution only benefited men.

Women, typically the gatekeepers of sex, were convinced that they should go and give it out, otherwise the other girls will, causing them to compete by offering sex at higher rates. Women are now more sexual objects than before, and despite the higher amounts of sex, very promiscuous women are still stigmatized just like before the sexual revolution. It's almost like they gained nothing but sex.

Men, who have the higher sex drives, were only happy to oblige. The fact that the prediliction of some existing societal problems are based on this are oblivious to women and men. Example: Abortion is an issue between right of life or a right to choose - in reality, Abortion wouldn't be a problem if people were willing to admit that its rates are very high when value on sex is very low a la the sexual revolution. No sides (women or men) want to say to "have less extramarital sex" as a way to solve Abortion, so they keep supporting nonsolutions, like access to contraceptives or banning abortion.

But you can't let the genie out of the bottle - people are too sex-addicted to admit that sex is creating this problem and we really have to have less of it before marriage. As a married man, I can definitely say sex is very hard to turn down once you have permanent access to it - for the unmarried to get access to this benefit it is reasonable to see why they refuse to simply say that sex outside of marriage is the problem - it's very hard to turn down.

If they magically find something that has energy density of even half of gasoline or natural gas, that something will be so dangerous we will not want to keep it stored in our home.

There's a reason we don't store tanks of gasoline in our house.

Trans people are suffering - and the cure for the suffering is not enacting wrath or vindication. The cure for the suffering is not bodily mutilation, the cure is not to have everyone around you be obligated to acknowledge that you aren't suffering.

The cure for the suffering is a lengthy period of healing and therapy where you emerge understanding that it's not right to believe you're something else.

Unfortunately, those who don't understand this are likely to find pain in the journey and ultimately take their own life. It's not getting any better, and it won't until they understand this.

Wasnt Ivermectin supposed to be a prophylactic - not a treatment?

Of course Fact Check is touting this - Ivermectin was never supposed to be treatment for Covid patients, was supposed to be a preventative prophylactic. They're technically correct, but completely missed the point.

I barely even understand the drug and even I knew this much.

The golden days of the web have been over for years.

Sadly, they didn't learn the lesson that the freer someone or something is, the better it becomes.

Janet Yellen isn't an idiot. Shes super qualified for where she is, and unlike the VP and several other officials, she isn't actually a diversity hire.

Why is she saying these things?

I know the TOR link - it's just, with far less visibility the traffic's going to be a lot lower and that just going to make the site a lot shittier.

You need inflation and fiat currency otherwise people horde currency and the economy stagnates.

Every economy that went fiat experienced a huge amount of growth because of access to debt and a desire to invest superceded the desire to horde money - why spend money when money itself grows in value?

This is the one thing all the gold standard/crypto enthusiasts do not consider when they see the plights of inflation and recommend their system instead.

Properly disposing of plastic waste involves burning it, which creates various chlorine-based gases, and CO2. It's how we dispose of plastic if it isn't landfilled - which is the only legal way to dispose of it in the US and Canada (and, if I recall, Europe as well, though they do incinerate a lot there).
