Another typical "everyone needs to do this and then let me know how well it works out, I want credit for thinking of it first but I have too much to lose if it doesn't work" lefty shitpost.

It's like virtue signaling but completely hypothetical so it requires no real effort, but if it happens you get good boy points for having suggested it.

I think that was Nemesis which was far worse. They were looking for the parts of B4 (for fucks sake) on the planet surface.

This got me thinking about how they ended Kirk in ST: Generations and the huge plot hole of how Kirk was hit by just a fraction of that energy ribbon in space and was still inside it like a century later but somehow Soran needs it to pass through a planet in order to stay inside of it or it'll not work or something. He could have flown a shuttle into it and it still comes off as lazy and contrived. I'm still disappointed by that writing.

Warhammer's military structure is pretty cutthroat as far as advancement goes, and a lot of the attitude is that you do whatever you can and whatever works if you're ambitious. I wonder how well fucking a superior would work for a female guardsman.

We've seen what they do in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, and in public. There are countless video examples everywhere. That we have to nonchalantly treat an entire class of people like Hannibal Lector instead of actually mentioning the problem out loud really speaks to the actual privilege they're afforded as any sane society would just let hem rot where they are instead of going the extra mile to pretend they can be civilized enough to not shoot people over donuts and coffee.

It costs literally $10 to manufacture an iPhone in China. The problem isn't manufacturing cost, it's Apple's markup.

I know Elysium wasn't supposed to be based, but it kind of was.

  • Everyone living in squalor in some favela style shithole

  • Healthcare is universal and fucking terrible

  • Inflation through the roof, $5 coins

  • Out of touch elected leaders and corporate elites live on an uninvadable artificial arcology where they have the best of everything, including military equipment, and are able to own property

  • Whole story arc is group of criminals trying to hijack the overloaded Healthcare system

It's like what happens when you vote Democrat nonstop.

One of the theories about this movie is that it's a meta Batman movie within the Batman movies, like if you went to Bat-Keaton Gotham and went to the movie theater, this is what you'd get if they made a movie about the Batman guy the city is famous for.

I'd sooner believe there were actual mutated turtle ninjas who lived into their teens.

Viva La Bam and Jackass were lousy but they were the terminus of what started with CKY and Bam's skating stuff, which was a great snapshot of Gen X life when it was current. It was all before internet was standard, homemade fucking around and not giving a shit which was the attitude of every teenager at the time, only most of us couldn't afford video equipment. I can't hate Bam for that, but I think it was media and MTV pushing and changing him just as much as he helped ruin anything by the end.

They tricked poor Melvin into putting that on before hooking him up with a sheep. After that he had bigger problems than his wardrobe.

But did you really go in wanting to play as Dazzler or did you just do it because she was the last spot left?

Biden is in very obvious mental collapse and can't put three words together without slurring and fucking up, he's "full of life" and "sharp as a tack!"

Trump does exactly what he said he would do and was elected to do, "look in the mirror, America!"

Like Hollywood isn't already obsessed with doing exactly this, shoving shitty agendas into literally every IP they can dig up. They've been busier than a cucumber in a women's prison. Are they afraid it might fix something?

If Kotick manages to take those two down it will be the one useful and positive thing he's done for the gaming community in his entire misbegotten career, and he'll still have done it unwittingly and selfishly.

If you fail 50,000 times at something (obviously consecutively otherwise he'd stop) and you keep coming back, and that thing is over a decade past its window of public interest, deep autism is probably not the only motivating mental condition in play. You're also into OCD territory and God knows what else. Even being in the room while someone plays that song 50k times would drive you insane.

This is a fairly broad term. It reminds me of the family from the UK that offered to house a family of 'Ukrainians' at the start of the war. They were delivered a family of ungrateful blacks who just came from wherever by way of Ukrainian migrant acceptance.

Imagine starting a whole organization to make one rapist's case go away and 109 years later you're still having to do it full time because it was so poorly handled.
