If they can manage ten years without losing a presidential election, given the current state of the DNC and it's open contempt for your constitution, I'd not be willing to bet against them just appointing themselves more...
Now she and Joe can duck in and out of BLM, while promising to use the government to hammer anyone their voters don't like.
On the day after their inauguration, BLM (the protests and the rioting, as if we don't know they are centrally coordinated) will vanish as quietly and thoroughly as church mice. This will be widely regarded in the D.C. beltway (and in State capitols and city police departments) as proof that the Democrats can turn their violence off and on as they will, and the Great Knuckling Under will continue.
COPmala was legit the most vile & awful person running in the Dem primary. Other than Stacey Abrams I can't think of a more terrible choice, even Susan Rice & Ducksworth would've been better.
The fact he wasn't even considering Tulsi (a WoC, war vet, & member of a minority religion) shows the Dems don't actually give a shit about feminism, racism, religious discrimination etc.
Plus Tulsi could actually appeal to Trump-leaning voters. No moderate is going to be swayed by Harris.
What are the odds Biden meant the 80s WWF wrestler Kamala The Ugandan Giant but didn't know he just died?
I mean, that might actually be a good thing. The last thing the country needs is people like AOC, Omar, Tlaib, and the rest of their squad holding any more power than they already do.
The Boomer Left are the only thing preventing SJWs from assuming full control of the party. So far, they have been putting up a good fight to maintain control. I'm pretty sure the Boomer Left is the part of the party responsible for the Harris VP pick. No way in hell an SJW would have picked her.
Plus Tulsi could actually appeal to Trump-leaning voters. No moderate is going to be swayed by Harris.
While I agree that Gabbard isn't as bad as Harris let's not go too far, her stance on reparations and gun rights already makes her unelectable for anyone who's already considering Trump.
That said, Harris really was the worst of the supposed major contenders in the primaries and so utterly unable to attract votes that she flamed out before even reaching Iowa. I am stunned that the Dems have now chosen her to be their de-facto presidential candidate, and stunned even more that anyone on r/politics or elsewhere thinks she'd last a second against Mike Pence after her atrocious performance against Gabbard in the 2nd Democratic debate.
anyone on r/politics or elsewhere thinks she'd last a second against Mike Pence after her atrocious performance against Gabbard in the 2nd Democratic debate.
Harris vs Gabbard was two DNC women "of color" debating though, so people actually kinda listened to what they were saying for once and realized Harris is a huge dumbass. The second Pence opens his mouth the media will just start screeching "HE'S A WHITE MALE!!!" and it won't matter what anybody actually says.
Harris is still an appallingly bad candidate though. I'm really surprised they chose her. I was almost convinced they were going to announce Michelle Obama, with the way Spotify has been shilling her new podcast lately.
You already know her debate with Pence will end up being a shit slinging contest over the Pence Rule and "sexism", despite the Pence Rule being an absolutely inspired decision and his use of it normalizing it enough to allow normal men to use it and defend themselves from Asia Argento's pedophile cult protected many men's jobs and lives.
Kamala Harris not just bad, she's fucking evil. She's a dirty prosecutor. Prosecutors who intentionally persecute innocent people for political gain while knowing that they are innocent are the absolute most abominable humans on Earth. I genuinely put her on the same moral level as infant rapists.
She is abominable creature who, if she had even the smallest sense of ethics, would do best to off herself, and I will never take that back.
On top of all of this, Kamala was already pre-selected by Hillary Clinton to win the nomination. She was supposed to beat Joe Biden in the debates and win the nomination until Tulsi shot her in the fucking face, which she RICHLY FUCKING DESERVED.
sigh Wrote a huge thing but hit cancel instead of submit...
Agree 100%. The reason I called her "the most vile & awful person running in the Dem primary" is precisely because of her withholding evidence clearing a man sitting on death row.
There's no other Dem primary candidate even close. NAP Liz is a shameless opportunist & stealing something meant for non-white people is pretty nasty but as Tucker pointed out she used to have some pretty good economic ideas that would really help people. I think Bernie is a good person whose ideas come from wanting to help people, even if I think many of them are wrong. Mayor Pete is pretty pathetic but I don't think I'd even rate Ratboy as a "bad person". Bloomberg? Maybe not a good person but probably no worse than your typical billionaire, Amy had some bad stories about her but I'm not sure how true they are and while you could argue they made her a bad person she's certainly not EVIL. I think Yang & Tulsi are truly good people. The rest I'm pretty ambivalent to.
Imagine what someone would have to do to you personally to make you willing to let them be executed for a crime you know they didn't commit...rape your granny and get away with it? But for Cop-mala is was just to keep her numbers up.
sigh Wrote a huge thing but hit cancel instead of submit...
Bro, you gotta type that shit out on Windows Sticky Notes first.
Imagine what someone would have to do to you personally to make you willing to let them be executed for a crime you know they didn't commit...rape your granny and get away with it? But for Cop-mala is was just to keep her numbers up.
She's truly evil. I'm not pro police, but they're absolutely a necessary force for some kind of urban density. I don't like people calling her a 'cop' because it genuinely gives Cops a bad name.
The truth here is that she was Hillary's hand picked successor, Tulsi skull fucked her on stage to the point that she never recovered, so they put her in anyway. She was promised the presidency in 2019, and the whole thing has just been a show for the Fabian Socialists to get someone useful into power.
It was a thing. It was more populist-right and libertarian-right that liked her. Her position on gun control wasn't really brought up till later in her campaign.
I think the big draw for her was that she didn't seem insane and is known for being a party outsider. The Dem party got really pissed at her when she refused to endorse Hillary in 2016, for example. If the Dems did end up winning she would have been the least horrible candidate was the logic.
She's also for ending foreign regime-change wars, mandating paper ballots & keeping the Electoral College, said "I don’t support open borders. Without secure borders, we don’t really have a country" & sued Google for their election interference.
What Dem primary candidate do you feel had better gun views? What are their views on the things I mentioned?
You have to look at the big picture- you could easily make the "I can't see how anyone on the right would care for" argument vs Trump if you singled out one of his views.
Back during the primaries, oh yeah. It was fucking sad, and the worst part was that a lot of them just flat out ignored her opinions to continue fapping. The media treated her like dirt and I guess the right wing white knights had to ride out en masse to protect m'lady. Then Hilary called her a Russian agent.
No its not a thing. There was no white-knighting of Tulsi. The only thing that happened is that right wingers were also watching the primary debates and were coming to the obvious conclusion that Tulsi stood the best chance against Trump in a general election. Some never-Trumpers latched onto her, but their opinions are at the absolute height of irrelevance.
Her chances against him in a general election had less to do with her policies, and more on her willingness to sink to Trump's level when debating him, and the relative ease at which she does so.
So she's the one who they're setting up to be the first female president of the USA by getting to Biden resign after winning due to "health complications?"
Ugh.... I genuinely tremble at the thought.
And, again, it's someone who didn't really rise to the position by merit either.
I'm starting to think the first woman president will be on the right just because they'll have actual (metaphorical) balls to push through bullshit.
The first woman president will be forced on us in an election where both candidates end up being female. That's the only way it will ever happen. That's why she's leeching off the Biden ticket.
Maybe. But the left seems to forget their very public freakout and even sexual objectification of Sarah Palin during her VP bid with McCain -- even as they brag about running a woman VP.
I'm still in the camp that Trump won't win this November. It's definitely not that I don't want him to, but more that the Democrats have such deathgrip control of all institutes of power that I can't see them losing. There isn't a doubt in my mind that they will openly exploit, cheat, and lie during the election in order to achieve the results they want.
Hell, they have every big tech company in their back pocket -- how could they fail?
You may as well ask the same of 2016 and that didn't pan out.
For me, I give Trump better odds even with fuckery.
What gets Gramps more afeared? The abstract fear of Donny getting a 2nd term or the realer fear of riots and marxists?
It's a tough conclusion to reach either way. I hate sounding like some doomer when I predict some shenanigans, but I think in 2016 it was more of a joke by people on the left; they legitimately thought he had no chance in hell. Fast-forward 4-years and I'm pretty sure this time they're taking it really serious -- them allowing riots, murders, and looting, as well as purposely attempting to tank the entire economy -- or even withholding support for the police in order to put the public in a state of fear -- elucidates their very clear intent this time around. Corruption and a "by any means necessary" mentality is now concomitant to their existence; at least until many more moderate liberals come out and openly admonish their methods.
But that's a whole different can of worms. Can moderate liberals really excoriate their own party members for their extremist views? Are they willing to do what is right, even if it costs their "team" an election? I've seen a few -- hell, I was even one myself up until 5 or 6-years-ago, but I'm not sure the rest are willing to call them out. At least, not in the way the right will openly condemn and denigrate the far-right.
2016 was a different time. Nobody in the cathedral genuinely thought Trump had a snowball's chance. All the polling was in Hill-dawg's favor. They didn't think they'd actually HAVE to resort to cheating and election fraud to win. The cathedral has learned, and they aren't going to leave it up to the people this time.
The 2018 midterms were a trial run in election stealing. Look up ballot harvesting (aka having Democrat agents delivering large chunks of ballots they "collected" from voters' homes).
The abstract fear of Donny getting a 2nd term or the realer fear of riots and marxists?
Everyone (except you, apparently) knows that if you put a Democrat in the White House in November, the protests and the riots will stop. It is just known, just as it is known that putting a BLM or Antifa sign in your restaurant window will keep you from getting "mostly peacefully protested."
I don't follow the parties so much, so I wouldn't know.
Even if there were a woman who'd have the fortitude, they'd get zero airtime and exposure since it doesn't fit the 'republicans bad' narrative.
Nikki Haley (former Governor of South Carolina and former UN Ambassador in Trump's administration) is the one that gets the most attention. She's not the worst, but there's better male candidates imo.
I don't think there's really any other female Republican viable for 2024 right now. There's some that could probably rise to being viable to at least run by then like Senators Joni Ernst, Martha McSally and Kelly Loeffler, Representative Elise Stefanik and Governor Kristi Noem, but I don't know.
Carly Fiorina ran against Trump in 2016 for the Republican nomination, and a lot of people think Nikki Haley's going to run in 2024 (this is by no means an endorsement of EITHER of them).
Like someone else said, non-liberal women don't get a lot of media screentime, and when they do they're generally treated as "gender traitors". Like the way the media treats Trump's female press secretaries (Sara Huckabee Sanders and Kayleigh McEnany).
Black women who slept her way into jobs and laughed while she sent more black people to jail than probably should have gone. Yep. Sounds right for the democrats.
What's funny/interesting is I was absolutely convinced, back at the start of the primaries, that she was going to be shoved down our throat by the DNC. I could not believe it when I heard she dropped out. She was the DNC pick, I was sure of it.
And now she's back. And she's going to be president.
Because we all know Biden isn't making it through a year if he even enters office.
He's going to step down for "health reasons" at some point in either the next couple months or during his first year in office.
(And before anyone says "but Trump will win" ... the Democrats are going to cheat and they're probably going to get away with it.)
Why did we need to wait until mid-August to learn this when Biden/Harris was basically the favorite pairing of the media and establishment since before the race even started?
Because everybody knows the democratic process is best served by attempting to con the country into thinking it's voting for some bumbling old dude at the head of the ticket when you're actually intending to install a politician who seems to revel in the punishment of those she's responsible for, whether they merit it or not...
when you're actually intending to install a politician who seems to revel in the punishment of those she's responsible for, whether they merit it or not...
Mate this is all part and parcel of it. Think about it, if Kamala Harris carries her same old police attitude with her when they end up ousting Biden for her, things are either gonna get worse or stay the exact same for black people because she doesn't give a shit about them either.
When things start going awry because of this, do you really think it'll be reported that she's to blame? Not a chance. It'll be years of headlines of 'Republicans block first ever black female president from helping black Americans', they'll continue to pile the blame onto white people just like they did when Obama was president and did literally nothing for blacks, and then they'll use it to fuel her re-election.
If black Americans ever woke the fuck up and realised that they're nothing but a political tool to be used and discarded by the Dems then they might actually achieve something politically
So in a time when we have “peaceful protesters” rioting about the police and record high gun sales, the Dems are running an anti-gun, tough on crime wannabe buddy cop campaign. It’s going to be fun if the Minneapolis officers don’t get the sentence people want. I’m half expecting the media to sweep that case under the rug now, depending on how vocal people are about hating Kamala
ⓧ Doubt
This was the closest thing to affirmative action we've seen.
She literally was forced onto him simply due to her skin color and gender.
That's her qualification for VP: she's black and a woman.
If and when Biden dies during his presidency we'll have our first affirmative action President.
second. then she can reign for 10 years.
Third.
22nd Ammendment limits terms if the position is previously assumed for more than 2 years.
So as long as Biden is PoTUS for 2 years and a day in a 4 year term his VP could then succeed him and run 2 complete terms of their own.
ah, thanks bro. forgot about the +1 day.
If they can manage ten years without losing a presidential election, given the current state of the DNC and it's open contempt for your constitution, I'd not be willing to bet against them just appointing themselves more...
I'm just impressed the Dems have gone completely back to their roots and nominated a daughter of slave holders.
Why did we fight the Civil War, again?
Because the Democrat's first response is always violence, and when that fails... JuSt A pRaNk, BrO!
Now she and Joe can duck in and out of BLM, while promising to use the government to hammer anyone their voters don't like.
On the day after their inauguration, BLM (the protests and the rioting, as if we don't know they are centrally coordinated) will vanish as quietly and thoroughly as church mice. What are the odds Biden meant the 80s WWF wrestler Kamala The Ugandan Giant but didn't know he just died?
The Dem party apparatus would rather self-destroy than give unorthodox semi-outsiders a lick of power and influence.

Pence can just ask "Why are you the running mate for a man you believe is a racist who committed sexual assault?"
Her answer : "Because he'll have a little accident after the election and I'll be POTUS"
Her other answer: "Because i couldn't give less of a shit about other women who were raped. I only care if it gives me more power"
Honestly Susan Rice would've been better. The only 2 black women worse would be Stacey Abrams & Karen Bass.
Gabbard had the "how about we don't bomb the middle-east" stance. To many begrudging Trump supporters, this was all that mattered.

Tulsi is still getting punished for using her Super Delegate vote for Bernie in 2016.
I don't really want to live through more right wingers white knighting Gabbard.
It was a thing. It was more populist-right and libertarian-right that liked her. Her position on gun control wasn't really brought up till later in her campaign.

Exactly. Yang & Tulsi sat not only with Rogan & Rubin but Tucker & Shapiro among others.
And I never heard them attack others based on their race, Tulsi never accused someone of "mansplaining".
She's also for ending foreign regime-change wars, mandating paper ballots & keeping the Electoral College, said "I don’t support open borders. Without secure borders, we don’t really have a country" & sued Google for their election interference.

Fiorina is best known for running Hewlett-Packard into the ground.
As someone else said above, the first affirmative action president.
Locked in the female supremacist vote then.
The key battleground of this election will be how many black men flip R vs how many white women flip D.
Black women who slept her way into jobs and laughed while she sent more black people to jail than probably should have gone. Yep. Sounds right for the democrats.

She is half Indian and half Jamaican. So, like Obama, she can claim being "black" but she can't claim being African-American.
Guess which half the media won't mention?
So they're still pushing her even after that whole slavery/prison stuff she was involved in? Why am I not surprised.
Her anti-male hatred pretty much secures a good majority of women's votes.
What's funny/interesting is I was absolutely convinced, back at the start of the primaries, that she was going to be shoved down our throat by the DNC. I could not believe it when I heard she dropped out. She was the DNC pick, I was sure of it.

Why did we need to wait until mid-August to learn this when Biden/Harris was basically the favorite pairing of the media and establishment since before the race even started?
We've known since the 28th, when the propaganda wing of the DNC accidentally leaked the choice.
They don't care what their voters want. They know they have most locked in and are going balls-deep on voting fraud.
Every single presidential ticket from the DNC now will have a black person on it
Because everybody knows the democratic process is best served by attempting to con the country into thinking it's voting for some bumbling old dude at the head of the ticket when you're actually intending to install a politician who seems to revel in the punishment of those she's responsible for, whether they merit it or not...

Yes, in a fair election, which we won't be having.
