Donald Trump's betrayal keeps getting worse
posted 63 days ago by RhodesianRidgeback 63 days ago by RhodesianRidgeback +61 / -0

I just found the Big Beautiful Bill resulted in us having to pay higher taxes. You have more money taken out of your paycheck, with the caveat you'll get a higher tax return. I'd rather keep my own money. I never thought I'd say this: Fuck Donald Trump

He clearly sold out. Zero campaign objectives met, multiple of his congressional endorsements are now pimping amnesty, the republicans are shattered support wise with the same tired “vote for the people who hate you over the people who hate you more” being their only slogan because actively getting anything done is a lie, we couldn’t even get the GOP to pass minor helpful bills.

No, he didn't. He lied from the very beginning.

He won in 2020, but he wasn't submitting to the so-called rightful rulers, so they made sure that the count said otherwise. Amazingly, now that he's willing to compromise all his earlier values in favor of those rightful rulers, the vote counting once again went in his favor. This is clearly a coincidence of policy shift and greater voting patterns.

"Not only do I get to stay out of jail, I also install Tulsi Gabbard as the town crier to tell everybody about all the mean things people did to me"

"Yeah fine, as long as you act like Bush Jr. Also you don't get to arrest anyone"

Reality is more complicated than that since he almost got assassinated at Butler, but they probably struck a deal with him at some point afterwards, or strengthened the arrangement they already had.

I wonder if we'd already be chimping out and initializing real change if the outcome was different that day.

All this does is delay the chimping out as they import more to demoralize and weaken the country.

Oh I fully believe that it would have sparked something unimaginable if Trump had actually died. Most of us were still under the illusion that he wasn't jewscum, and were sick and tired of the Biden regime.

This was when goons like Bill Ackman threw their support to him. And Miriam Adelson gave him $250 million IIRC.

Word on that is that he told some of his closets confidants that he was going to take Miriam's money and then tell her to go fuck off. The warning shot in PA was her telling him what she would do if he betrayed her.

I didn't notice anything different with my 2025 taxes. Then again, I'm a standard deduction plebian, so maybe things are different with the Itemized Master Race.

At least they rolled back the $600 1099-K reporting threshold from President Autopen. THAT actually affected me. At least I no longer get taxed on my fucking eBay garage sales.

Dude, people seeing satan and triple sixes everywhere for two and a half decades is how we got four to six generations of children specifically radicalized against christians and christianity, to the point where they'll invite fucking mudslimes in with open arms to spite you.

You need to take your meds and calm down with that. It doesn't earn you any support from anyone who doesn't already agree with you (or at least suffer from the same paranoid obsession).

Betrayal is betrayal. You don't need the magic talking snake guy to make people do evil, repugnant shit.

What specifically made you pay higher taxes?

Do you itemize deductions or take the standard deduction?

Do you do your taxes yourself or have someone else do them?

If your earnings and deductions stayed the same then there was likely a mistake made somewhere.

That's an idiotic take given all our manufacturing has been moved out of the country, and companies have been caught raising their prices and blaming the tariffs. The only thing not imported are the vegetables I can buy from a farmers market.

▲ 3 ▼
– logintoblockcommunit 3 points 63 days ago +3 / -0

Due to my rampant xenophobia autism, I've spent the last decade buying "made in America" and locally made stuff whenever possible.

If you give up on cheap chinese pig iron and plastic, you can get almost everything you need without paying a dime in tariffs, and if you pay more to buy durable, high quality stuff, you'll only ever buy it once.

For example, I've bought furniture from the Amish and had it drop shipped across the country, simply because I know I'll still be sitting on that chair and eating at that table in fifty years.

That's how the checks and balances system works. Look at how the bill was edited to get the result we have today. Pay attention to WHO edited that bill to make it the reverse of what it was intended to be.

You should also be doing that at your state level. You'll start to notice the same names of the people who don't want to be productive.

You have more money taken out of your paycheck, with the caveat you'll get a higher tax return. I'd rather keep my own money.

Go to the IRS website, download Form W-4, fill it out, and submit it to your employer's Human Resources department.

Everyone gets a deduction, whether it's the standard deduction or itemized.

Regardless, this is a non sequitur to what you were talking about in the OP: the "more money taken out of your paycheck" line, i.e. withholding.

You're employed with a company, yes?
You're not an independent contractor or a gig worker?

Then you should have received an IRS Form W-2 sometime around February that showed how much your employer withheld in 2025. You can then compare that to the refund you got and adjust accordingly for the next tax year, but you would have to go to the IRS website, download Form W-4, fill it out, and submit it to your employer.

▲ 1 ▼
– ernsithe 1 point 62 days ago +1 / -0

Important to point out that it is better to have the W-4 set a bit too high than too low (less than 90% of what you end up owing). Yes, the "refund" you receive is essentially a interest-free loan to the feds BUT tax withheld from paychecks is counted as if it were evenly distributed throughout the year (unless changed with a Form 2210). And technically tax payments are owed quarterly. Which means if you under-withhold some of that money was due months ago. Too much and not only do you get get to pay the difference you also get penalties and/or deal with estimated taxes next time.

Not as much of an issue if your only income is from a paycheck, but worth being aware of.

Not defending this neocon, but does it make a difference? Didn't his previous bill do the opposite and that it led people to believe that they didn't get a tax cut?
