I got a suggestion from my algorithm on YouTube for a mashup video of John Cena's "My Time is Now" and Eminem's "Encore/Curtain Call."
Encore was released is 2004. The song includes the following lyrics
Spoke to a generation of angry teenagers Whom, if it wasn't for rap to bridge the gap, may be raised to be racist Who may have never got to see our faces
Eminem is saying without rap, white kids would just black people. That rap gave them a reason to empathize with blacks.
The idea being blacks and other minorities are naturally empathetic and not racist, conversely white people are naturally racist and hateful.
Where does this attitude come from? It's clearly not backed by any data, because data shows white people don't tend to have high in-group preferences. Especially compared to the preferences of other racial groups.
It comes from the media to demoralize white people. It also appeals to, I don’t know the word for it, but people that can point to a bad guy and say how they aren’t like him. Poorly worded I know but they portray white people as racist then morons act like they are the special good white people that bridges some kind of gap with a fucking rap song. Thank god I Eminem was here to stop the racist whites natural progression.
It comes first from academia. A lot of prominent figures in the anti white and anti male movement labored largely in obscurity before a lot of money flooded in and they got traction on social media. Really ramped up after Occupy Wall Street to divide people and distract them.
Putting aside the nonsense of it all, were it true that white people are inherently racist and somehow the demons and villains of all history, it is a provocative and compelling idea to look into. It’s provocative because it’s seemingly a complete inversion of the truth. A lot of people believe things based on what others believe, so if you get enough people to get in on it, the idea will grow. Were it true that whites are all satan and killing black people at 6 million bodies a minute, it is a compelling cause to try to address.
If you think about how easy it is to get people to believe things that aren’t true, it’s even easier to get them to believe that because doing so makes you part of a grand social cause or something.
If white people were as bad as academia and jewish owned media orgs say we are there wouldn't be any shitskins remaining to complain.
From the people who orchestrated WW2. Germans weren't the only target for reeducation after the end of the war. This attitude has been brainwashed into people for the last 80 years and counting by what was once the Psychological Warfare Division.
This isn't entirely wrong. Rap getting big when it did changed a whole lot of white teens and young adults into Wiggers and made a lot of them inherently more pro-black. Because suddenly all the shit that makes blacks awful and evil was suddenly "cool" and they'd sweep for it because of Wigger nonsense. It was a perfectly timed thing to let them jump over those impressionable years to adulthood where it was harder to change their mind on things, especially things they once loved if not still did.
It was literally taking the stuff that created 'racism', seeing how blacks talk and act, and then just "this is actually awesome" in the most hedonistic ways. Eminem was crucial to that by being the 'middle ground' for white trash teens to see themselves in that same situation. Because in most of America that poorest whites live among the blacks and have a lot of the same culture as them. And now instead of hating them for obvious reasons, they'd instead join them in trying to hustle and be rappers or other nonsense.
At the end of it, white people will always inherently be racist. Because blacks, and a lot of other races, suck in ways that will make you balk in disbelief at the evil you see in front of you. You cannot know they exist and not end up racist against them. Its why the media and the Jews spend so much time instead trying to convince you of justifications and ways that its not evil but cool or allowed. So you disbelieve your lying eyes.
They inverse this for other races at the same time. Its why you see things like "being on time" or "studying" being called white supremacist colonizer. They take things that we naturally would like, and call them evil. Its why black kids get bullied for "acting white" when they behave like decent people. White culture has a lot of draws that anyone who isn't a low IQ hedon would want, and so its crucial to paint that as always evil (and that hedonism as always valid).
There will always be tribalism, which is the instinct at the heart of "racism." But there is also extreme efforts to fuck with both sides perceptions of reality. One that makes blacks refuse to pull themselves out of their death spirals, and the other that makes whites complacent and defensive about letting them do so.
Jazz, funk, soul, gospel... they gave people a reason to empathise with blacks. Rap created empathy for niggers. It's in the name, wigger.
Nay, it made people think they were capable of being human and empathizing with that universal quality.
Rap reminded us all that they were niggers on the inside, and that humanity was just a facsimile they adopted to try and fit in.
I think it’s pretty pervasive, it’s been reinforced in pop culture since the sixties, and probably earlier. My Boomer relatives, liberal and conservative believe it. They like to think that the fact that they “aren’t” racist makes them better people.
The fact that the only Black people they’ve been exposed to for most of their lives have been the top .1% of actors and athletes and stuff helps reinforce the idea.
Very pervasive in non-Whites, and was pervasive in Whites but has fallen apart in the last decade.
Not quite as pervasive as hanging out in right wing online spaces, where such things are focused on, would have you believe...but still deeply and disturbingly pervasive.
Imagine the last time you've ever heard someone - much less a normie - say something good about white people. It doesn't happen, at least not in "polite society."
The default position is that white people are, if not bad, at least not good.
White people are guilty until proven innocent...and they're never proven innocent.
"It's okay to be white," was deemed hate speech, and got people banned from entire countries.
Also, as an aside, while I like many of Eminem's songs, he was always a cuck, and turned into a gigacuck. Which is sad and funny, since he grew up as "white trash," and still thinks he had an advantage over all those poor black rappers.
I remember when he performed with Elton John and became a pro-gay crusader. They even threw in a scene in 8-Mile where he defends a fag. I knew he was a sellout, and that whole saga was an early lesson in how fake and controlled all these people are.
Old lawyers’ maxim: you don’t sue the party responsible - you sue whomever will pay.
Whites are the only racial/ethnic demographic who respond to accusations of racism with deference, apologies, and indulgences paid to the accuser. If you accuse a black person or an Asian person or an Hispanic person of racism, they will laugh in your face. They certainly won’t moderate or otherwise alter their behavior in order to satisfy your indignation, and there’s no way in hell they would ever cede resources or opportunities to you either.
So if only one group alters their behavior in response to accusations of racism, then there is no incentive to level such accusations against any other group. That’s the power of not caring what other groups think about you and yours. The empathy of white peoples has been responded against them. Their altruism has been turbo charged, by malicious forces, into a suicidal and dysgenic pathological compulsion.
Amongst commie faggot university cultists? Very, very pervasive.
It's why the "It's Okay To Be White" 4chan op generated so much vitriol from the left.
It's projection from insanely racist and low IQ people, like most of the negative stereotypes about white people.
I miss when the black population was producing good musicians like Chuck Berry. Now all we get is violent niggers mumbling incomprehensibly into a microphone on top of some distressing synthesizer beats.
When pressed, almost no normie believes it, I would honestly say even a large plurality of black people don't believe it. I don't even think most racists believe it. An anti-white normie racist doesn't like white people because he thinks whites are arrogant and think their better than him, and are happy to watch him suffer for their own bemusement. Truth is he's talking about White Liberals in the upper-middle class, but he doesn't know that. He doesn't think whites are -inherently- racist.
Communist revolutionaries from the 1970's who escaped arrest and went into Universities. Most of the Leftism we deal with today is the institutionalization of that radicalism.
Not just communists, gay communist pedophiles like Foucault.
eeeeehhhhh lotta overlap. Not sure if there's a difference.
Among """intellectuals""", very. Among leftists, also very. Among people, not very.
as an american of asian descent, i want USA to remain white dominant/super majority. should be +90% european descent. i am honored to be white adjacent to yall and will be honored to fight along yall against the commies and brown hordes.
Read the praire fire I think it is. It's easy to find a pdf of, but it's the weather underground manifesto from the 70's. It's basically a modern university curriculum.
That implies that Eminem himself is racist, and rap allowed him to be black so that he can contunue to be racist and not feel bad about it. Or something.
I wonder what listening to Happy Harry's High Club by The Art of Noise says about someone.
How old are you?
The 2000s were a really different time, looking back it can seem planned (I dont think it was, but it doesnt mstter either way)
There was a HUGE push that "everyone's a little bit racist" that it wasn't a moral failing, it was a part of human nature born of a very basic preference for the familiar. But being open minded was good! Challenging your feelings about something to see if you were just rejecting the novel for no reason. Travel was fatal to bigotry because we're all mostly the same. Black America was hidden and insular. Black people were scared and wouldn't share their lives with the world, but putting a light on it would show the challenges, and everyone would be easily convinced to help them. You just needed a bit of awareness.
That's a pretty mild and easy to accept narrative. We can all work together, Black communities are suffering from historical disadvantages that have made them distrustful and insular, but the key to success is openness and trust, and when we all come together it will elevate the human conciousness.
That "everyone is a little bit racist" was the attack point. Once people accepted that, it was easy as an academic to flip the switch with "except for.." and that cascades. The programing of "everyone is a little racist" is deep, and equivocating on "racist" became the primary strategy for building the new race narrative.
Funny, because I always found nearly all rap to be terrible and it gives me an immediate negative impression when I hear anyone listening to it; kind of a marker of "ok, well avoid that idiot."
