As for tinder in general, or any of these apps, they've already hit end game superficiality and nobody is happy since there is always someone hotter, whether male or female, and if that's the standard to meet, date, and have marriages with people its a lost cause. For dating apps to be financially successful they have to cater to women and hamstring men. Women will instantly flock to whoever benefits them the most and men are left buying the access women are granted outright. I thought height filters were already a thing, but maybe that's a different app. I doubt it matters much anyway. The overlap between men who get a decent enough ROI on dating apps for them to not be a complete waste of time and men who would get filtered out by a height filter is pretty much nonexistent.

I don't like banning things, But I'm starting to think they should be banned for people under 21 if they are advertised as for meeting people you don't know, or at least make penalties for people over that age who use them to meet people under 21.
The older generations may be lost, but if people in the 18-21 age group are forced to learn normal in person dating we might normalize save the future ones.
Age restrictions are quite different from bans. Particularly if it means you can rest assured that you won't accidentally commit a crime (for example wine at dinner but oops they're not 21). 18 being the minimum to enter legally binding contracts certainly hasn't 'banned' contracts.
Tbf men don't use the app all that much. Dating app users are mostly women and those apps are optimized to give them the illusion Mr Big is just one sweep away, they just have to raise their standards and filter harder. Apps aren't designed to solve issues, they are optimized for engagement.
