Tbf men don't use the app all that much. Dating app users are mostly women and those apps are optimized to give them the illusion Mr Big is just one sweep away, they just have to raise their standards and filter harder. Apps aren't designed to solve issues, they are optimized for engagement.
Remember when Bumblee only allowed women to initialize conversations but it turned out so few women were doing it that they were forced to enable men to message first and they presented it as innovative? Modern dating apps are the husband store joke irl
Last I looked into it, men used apps more than women.
You're right, men use Tinder 3:1. Dating sites in average also skewer male 60/40.

That's what makes it a buyer's market for women. If you can set a height filter and still get tons of matches, why not?
