I’m glad you’re here to see the shitshow in my replies. Surely you’ll see takes like “women fantasize about being raped” as if that’s a reason to rape.First of all, even if that was true, there an abysm between me fantasizing about being raped and you fantasizing about raping me+
As always, points for using "begging the question" in the original correct style.
But yeah, massively disingenuous from her, no surprise. No one is using that as a "reason to rape," they're using women's obsession with being raped as a justification for calling out the hypocritical outrage about rape fantasy that appeals to men, and the feminist outrage surrounding that.
If women can fantasize about being raped, men can fantasize about rape. Neither is leading to real world rape. Fictional rape =/= rape.
... Holy shit. Did you just use "begging the question" correctly?
That might be the second time I've seen that in the wild!
Edit: For people who don't know the phrase "begging the question" is used to point out a tautology or circular logic. If someone is using circular logic, then it is "begging the question".
Journalists like to think that a question begging to be asked is "begging the question (insert question)"; Nope. Wrong. Don't do that.
Because some men are still based and want to fight censorship and defend liberty. Despite all your antihuman efforts to the contrary.
Begone, feminist!
I have no interest in this game, but I think its removal is a travesty. People can play it or not.
Although I think porn is bad, porn games are already pretty far down the rabbit hole. Considering how much easier it is to just watch porn (which is its own issue), if you're going out of your way to play porn games, the damage is already done. So I don't care. I've always defended it on freedom grounds. Again, people can play it or not. Almost no one is going to get further porn-addicted by playing games, that's not how this works, that's not how any of this works.
We are so cooked...
As an aside, I fucking hate Modern™ language.
...fighting for their right to play a rape simulation game?
It's. Fucking. Fiction.
I have a right to play a rape game, just like I play a ton of "murder" games.
Fuck. Off. Feminist. Progressive. Retards.
I don’t know if anyone has ever said this to you but yall are rapists. Yall just haven’t raped yet.
Rich, coming from feminists who have been raping civilization for decades millennia, in one form or another.
I've never raped anyone, and never will. Fuckers like you have raped, pillaged, and destroyed my culture. So fuck right off.
Although I think porn is bad, porn games are already pretty far down the rabbit hole. Considering how much easier it is to just watch porn (which is its own issue), if you're going out of your way to play porn games, the damage is already done.
I'd be inclined to agree if the relations between the sexes were functional. As it stands ugly dudes do less damage to themselves playing porn games than allowing themselves to be put on the business end of a divorce rape.
I'm saying, whether you think porn is bad or not, porn games are further down the road than porn videos. The latter is much more accessible, so people probably start there. People aren't playing porn games and destroying themselves. Because (again, based on perspective), those people already probably overexposed themselves to standard porn.
Porn games are not the gateway, is my point.
If you ask someone how they got into porn, I'm guessing about zero percent would say "porn games."
Yeah, that's fair. I guess I just have a bit of a hair trigger for the anti-porn crowd missing the forest for the trees. They're not wrong, they're just a bit too focused a problem that's downstream from the real issue.
I'm not sure I'd lump myself into the anti-porn crowd, per se.
I acknowledge the dangers, I don't think it's a good thing, and I think the super pro-porn crowd are insane and broken people, but I've always defended it nonetheless, because I think the alternative - censorship and government interventionism - is a slippery slope to much worse things.
I don't like porn, but I think the issue is best addressed by discussion, not legislation, and I will always oppose criminalizing it. Just like I don't like the pro-porn crowd, I think the anti-porn crowd are retarded fanatics, who are on a very thin line to making things ever worse. This is one of those issues I'm somewhere in the middle on, and find myself arguing with both sides.
Steam didn't even ban it. The dev willingly took it off Steam after a few countries banned it to avoid getting Steam themselves into more controversy.
That fact keeps getting lost in all of this, but he gracefully and willingly took it down once shit started going sideways. Opinions on that option may vary, but it wasn't Steam at play.
Serves me right for not looking into it more, I suppose. Thanks for the clarification.
The dev willingly took it off Steam...
What a cuck!
That fact keeps getting lost in all of this, but he gracefully and willingly took it down once shit started going sideways. Opinions on that option may vary, but it wasn't Steam at play.
I mean, it's not his responsibility. I'd argue it's not graceful, it's self censorship. He owes nothing to Steam. If Steam wants to ban it, he should stick around and make them do that, not beat them to to the punch and ban his own game. That accomplishes nothing. Steam is much, much, much bigger than he is. It's not his duty to protect Steam, it's Steam's duty to protect him and their own integrity, or cave.
I give the dev zero credit on this. All he did was remove his own game from the biggest storefront.
I'd argue it's not graceful, it's self censorship.
I understand this opinion, and I don't think its wrong.
I think homie just made a cheap asset flip itch.io game for his gooning needs, and it became an international controversy. And rather than embroil himself in the culture war, he just bowed out.
If this was a legitimate game made with actual effort and skill, I'd lean more into your perspective. But given how zero effort and numerous games like this are on Steam, I don't think he even cared that much about protecting it himself. Heck his reasoning of "protecting Steam" could just be cope to make himself sound better.
it's Steam's duty to protect him and their own integrity, or cave.
Funnily enough that have good precedent of doing so, and likely would have here too. Heck last time one got this big of a stink (Hatred) Gaben himself descended to defend and reinstate it.
Unless it involves anime, then Steam is happy to ban anything because "possible loli scary."
I think homie just made a cheap asset flip itch.io game for his gooning needs...
I've played around with Ren'Py, which I believe this was made in. Although I'm sure it uses assets, it looks like far from a 'cheap asset flip.'
And rather than embroil himself in the culture war, he just bowed out.
Could have just ignored it. I'm not giving him any benefit of the doubt on this. He made a thing, no matter how anyone feels about that, and then didn't stand by it.
If this was a legitimate game made with actual effort and skill, I'd lean more into your perspective.
Haven't played it, but just looking at some of the info out there, I'd say this took effort and skill. As much as a non VN? No, but it still looks like it did the work for that genre, and is significantly better than a bunch of the stuff on Steam.
Funnily enough that have good precedent of doing so, and likely would have here too. Heck last time one got this big of a stink (Hatred) Gaben himself descended to defend and reinstate it.
Which just furthers the argument of the creator cucking. Not sure what he was thinking. Publicity is publicity, he should have left it on the platform until they either removed it or didn't.
I'll default to your much deeper knowledge then, and drop that point of view then.
Either way, some people just want to do things without being the newest battleground in the culture war and while that is a very cucked mindset, I'm unable to be truly hateful against them for that decision.
I'm not trying to ballwash him too much, but I just can't muster the emotion necessary to be critical of him willingly bowing out.
I'll default to your much deeper knowledge then, and drop that point of view then.
Not going to say my knowledge is much deeper. Just saying I've seen some jank, and I've seen some good stuff and, from a cursory glance, I'm guessing this falls into the later category. This isn't the equivalent of the lame asset flips you see in Unity or Unreal, for example. It's likely using various assets (DAZ3D etc.), but actual work went into writing, coding, and polishing.
Either way, some people just want to do things without being the newest battleground in the culture war and while that is a very cucked mindset, I'm unable to be truly hateful against them for that decision.
I'm not hateful, and we're in agreement it's pretty cucked.
It doesn't even have to be "culture war." If you find yourself in the eye of the storm...just smile, shut the fuck up, and let your "controversial" product fly off the shelves.
He didn't need to defend he his work, he just needed to not remove it from one of the prime storefronts, just because people were upset.
He didn't need to defend he his work, he just needed to not remove it from one of the prime storefronts, just because people were upset.
With countries banning him and I'm certain his inbox being flooded with attacks, including probably government/media ones, I can see how he would feel that he would have to. It was probably an overwhelming feeling and feeling like you are being brought into that war against your will.
You are focusing hard on the money aspect of this and how great it would be, but considering how easily he gave it all up I doubt it mattered at all to him.
Also this isn't a general product. Its a very niche fetish porn game. Even people who'd defend him are very unlikely to buy it, and the market for it is minimal in best case scenario. The bump in sales from this controversy is still likely not a number very high, though probably still notable relative to other games like it. Like, it isn't Hatred. Most people aren't gonna buy it because they see its name in headlines or play it for the laugh of it.
Again, this is a case of I get the likely mindset he is under even if I don't agree with him doing it.
I haven't even heard much about it in years, and I can't tell if that's because everyone gave up trying to get past them or Steam did what it often does and just stopped enforcing it to defacto undo the rule.
Because I see plenty of high school games get by now, when that was the big contention back then.
I don't think its removal is a travesty - Steam bans all kinds of shit for stupid reasons - but the hypocritical "controversy" and grounds for removal here is. All this fake outrage really shines a light on the power feminists have over society though.
Because some men are still based and want to fight censorship and defend liberty.
You sound like the biggest faggot now, real men recognize that ultimate liberty leads to where you are today and that censorship is necessary in order to prevent this. If only the right and white men collectivized like this nowadays to purge the once called entartete kunst, things would be much better. You useless cuckservatives talk about liberties and freedom of speech while the left actively weaponizes these things against you and uses it to corrupt everything you like.
You keep ''defending liberty'' while your enemies want to strip them away from you openly you useless, stupid, 70 IQ cuck, and all that to defend what, a porn game? No surprise anyone who'd defend a porn game, let alone be a dev for one or play it is a colossal loser.
There's so much straw manning there it's ridiculous. I don't even want to play the game and I know you can still get it officially on the game's website, itch.io and at least one or two other places, as well as piracy.
Fiction doesn't work that way. You can't just see something happen and become that thing.
Otherwise you're a bank robber if you ever watched Heat.
You're an actual alien from another planet if you watched Coneheads.
You have a Proton Pack if you ever watched Ghostbusters.
You have a most excellent time travelling phone booth if you watched Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
You had a frozen caveman buried in your backyard if you watched Encino Man.
You're a fighter pilot if you watched Top Gun.
You're a police officer if you ever watched Police Academy.
I could keep going, but this shit is ridiculous. Fiction doesn't work this way.
You can't just see something happen and become that thing.
Everybody goes to fiction for this argument. The same logic would be applied to non-fiction. Documentaries depict their subject matter all the time. The types of things jurors see in evidence review. Apply it to all stages of Law and Law Enforcement. People doing studies on say, oh I don't know, rape gangs etc.
People will easily dismiss the absurdity when applied to ficiton. Non-fiction is where the real absurdity rears its head in a far less ignorable way.
That's entirely separate to the argument that gets made though and is almost if not entirely resolved by age and natural maturity alone.
I boil the argument down to "monkey see, monkey do" and if the premise is taken as true, then it becomes immoral for law enforcement to view video evidence of murder because of the effect it would have in driving them towards replicating it. It becomes illegal to distribute it, it hugely affects what can be conveyed through the news by either depiction or description. And on and on it goes across every facet of life and information, real or imagined.
Now the argument does have some merit with firsthand viewing of any such events but it requires a magnifying effect from multiple other factors (age, mental condition/fortitude, moral compass, underlying psychiatric conditions/conditioining, cultural normalisation/commonality... list goes on but you get the idea *Forgot to add, there's also mitigating factors within similar subsets to contributing ones) to have any reliable impact on behaviours and outlooks. It's a numbers game of incredibly low probabilities and the effects can only be seen afterwards because of required diagnoses making ti not only an unreliable predictor, but an absolutely useless one even in the context of where the effect is very real.
Absurd, beginning to end. I just wanted to expand on it because the overall gets missed on the internet.
Their real issue is that the game isn't degenerate enough. The same crowd would be running to the game's defense if it included cuckoldry and tranny shit on top of the rape content.
And a great example of the Streisand Effect, and our enemies being unable to help themselves. What a retarded thing to decide to (pretend) to be outraged about. But they insisted.
the same retards that cry every November for men to resist NNN under the basis that they will take their urges out on others via rape now suddenly have a problem with men playing a rape simulator game
I see people saying "what about 50 shades of grey" That was a billionaire, that's why.
The difference between male porn and female porn is both will feature a female main character, but the female oriented version features her having sex with high status males, while the male-oriented version features her having sex with low-status males. One is aspirational to women (she can land a billionaire) the other is aspirational to you (because we are low status men).
The reason why women get upset at games like this because of the low status of the protagonist. It's not that the women is being ravaged it's that the man is seen as undeserving.
It's partly true. To the extent that most people have not been pushed far enough to know exactly what they're made of. Until you see your own grave opening up in front of you.. you don't have any real idea what you would and wouldn't do.
In the face of this then what you actually want are rape simulation games.
The question being is would most people, in a policed society, actively avoid certain situations if they knew this about themselves ahead of time. My presumption is most would. Those who wouldn't are going to rape no matter what anyways.
So, it's a very minor, but still net positive, force for good in the world to have rape simulators.
It’s a little complicated but basically:
Real Niggers/Jews/Muslims raping real women = fine
Virtual men raping virtual women = bad
Real White men raping real women = Bad (+ or - depending on how hot the guy is)
Having sex with virtual children = bad
Having sex with real children = fine, it’s just a sexual preference.
Black people killing Black people = fine
White people killing Black people = bad, etc.
And then of course you have gays and trannies which really throws a wrench into the whole thing.
We can also add
Women liking rape roleplay = good
Men liking rape roleplay = bad too
She also adds "as if that’s a reason to rape" further begging the question. No use for retards like that except as evidence to repeal the 19th.
As always, points for using "begging the question" in the original correct style.

she low-key admitted it lol
Nonwhites, so good. Sometimes Jews = white, though, so that's bad, situationally. When white people can be blamed.
Men bad. Women good.
It is more specific than that. Male sexuality is Evil (tm) and Toxic (tm) and you should be ashamed of it, shitlord.
Female sexuality is empowering (tm) and positive (tm).
Which is why female teachers raping middle school students is fine, etc.
Allow me to simplify:
White man bad
Brown man good
Right wing bad
Left wing good
Because some men are still based and want to fight censorship and defend liberty. Despite all your antihuman efforts to the contrary.
Begone, feminist!
