You don't rent a lime a scooter from a shop they're just laying all over the street, so if you want one you scan a QR code on the app, connect to their GPS and Bluetooth and the scooter unlocks. Then when you're done you just leave it anywhere you want and disconnect from the app and the scooter locks up.
