There's a depressingly large amount of this crap out there in the indie scene, clearly much more than there is demand. itch.io has a metric ton of them. The description will often say "This is a game about struggling through depression." Why would anyone want to play that, depressed or not?
Games like that are not made to be played by anyone. They're made to fish for awards and praise from critics/bloggers who are looking to virtue signal. Once they have a big enough profile as a "developer," they'll try to pivot into consulting "work."
But this particular one seems to at least have higher effort than those. It's just a bunch of horny SJWs who wanted to make a game where they can be horny. And even if it's objectively bad, that's as fair a premise as any.
