That will never happen. The police only go after easy targets like us. No way they will go after a very rich person that also happens to be very popular.

We see this all the time in the UK.

The police arrest some working class teenager for having books that are freely available on Amazon’s UK site.

The police are cowards looking for easy targets.

100%. The UK police are cowards and bullies.

It is far past time that people grouped together and beat the shit out of them.

Yep. I'm sure the Scottish government are just itching to fight a legal battle when the opposing side has near infinite lawyer money...

Sometimes the process is the punishment. Her money might be near infinite but her time left sure is not.

Are they retarded enough to chase Rowling and her sweet sweet taxes out of the UK?

The thing is, where would Rowling flee? A blue US state? She might get in the same trouble over hate speech laws, would complain about the same troon problems, and might have to fight for the right to offend troons to the Supreme Court. A troon might also off her.

A red US state? She'd be permanently reeeeing for more intersectional feminism, but she'd be happy if her state banned grooming / trooning-out kids and isn't letting males crush females in women's divisions.

If living in a blue city of a red state, she could also get offed by a troon.

I wonder if she would agitate for open borders in the US. Likely.

We ain't got no hate speech laws in the US and won't, thanx to the First Amendment to our Constitution. All the persecution is unofficial, carried out by the media and within the universities.

This just in: businessinsider.com writes, "A California court struck down a 2017 anti-discrimination law protecting LGBTQ elders, making it legal for employees to intentionally misgender and deadname patients at long-term care facilities."

That's a little overstated. The 1A is still real enough to crush misgendering laws here, and while the threat to her life shouldn't be ignored, it's probably the same in Scotland. I know NYC and some other jurisdictions supposedly fine you for misgendering, but I've never heard of someone prosecuted for it yet.

There are only a couple of states, like CA (of course) and MI that are considering fines for misgendering, but it would never get by a legal challenge.

Nah, the process is for plebs with no media clout. The last thing they want is to draw more attention of the normies. Positive or negative, coverage from both sides would send this issue into the stratosphere.

Could actually be a stage set to play out this debate publicly.

Fun fact about her home of Edinburgh: It's actually the city where the modern age was born.

This law is mainly to prosecute criticisms of Islam. It was rolled out by Humza Yusaf (who JK previously supported). She’s only upset now his backward religion slightly affects rich women.

She's going to be in for one hell of a wake up, when they finally reach the population numbers to start implementing sharia.

Yes, target the woman with mountains of money, has WB basically over a barrel given how HER franchise is the few money makers for them and her franchise is like crack cocaine for the left as no matter how much they hate her, they STILL need the Harry Potter merch and to relate their life to.

Scotland is so broke right now that she could single handedly tank the country's budget in court fees ALONE..

This comes how soon after the recent law was passed in Scotland? Would bet easy money someone was champing at the bit to send that report and had the whole thing written up with their finger hovering over the SEND button for the second the law went through.

There's nothing to worry about her biggest shield is not her wealth but because she is a woman. Conservative simps will rush to her defence even though the basis of her beliefs is the hatred of men.

UK arrests more people for subversive speech per year than Communist China.

I'm hoping the shit the Irish are being forced to put up with will spark some sort of counter-revolution, but I won't hold my breath. The prostrate population appears to be going along with the program of creating a Fag State, to compete with the English Caliphate. Farmers are taking the lead in the resistance to insane EU "climate" dictats there and across Europe, no doubt because a threat to livelihood makes people more upset than threats to their autonomy and free speech, so that's hopeful.

The Dear Drag Leader: "Anytime, anywhere anyone threatens the Gay State, we're gonna track 'em down, find 'em, and kill 'em."

Doesn't she live in a legit castle with a moat? She should pull up the drawbridge and reenact the Monty Python - Holy Grail French Taunting scene.

"No chance, English bed-wetting types. I burst my pimples at you and call your door-opening request a silly thing, you tiny-brained wipers of other people's bottoms! Yes, depart a lot at this time, and cut the approaching any more or we fire arrows at the tops of your heads and make castanets out of your testicles already! Ha ha haaa ha! And now, remain gone, illegitimate-faced bugger-folk! And, if you think you got a nasty taunting this time, you ain't heard nothing yet, dappy English k-nnniggets! Thpppt!"

It won't happen because governments of the west are totally corrupt and she is too rich. Not to say that it's bad she won't be arrested. Just that society is designed from the top down to service people with extreme wealth. To arrest such a wealthy person under a weak law that has zero public support is to threaten that law, and in doing so, would do damage to the occupation of the state.

$XXXXXXX is more powerful than certain laws. Name the law, there is a limit. $200 is more powerful than a parking ticket, and JK Rowling's potter money is more powerful than Infinite Genders speech legislation.
