Words are merely rhetorical weapons to these people. They don't have any meaning beyond their tactical purpose at any given moment.
The earlier post on “gay” Abe articulated this, one commentator said Lincoln wasn’t homosexual because the word homosexual wasn’t common use at the time. Not mentioning that sodomy was common use at the time as well as sodomite. They will grab the most obtuse to claim the common.

The original hebrew word used also means "side". The intent could be that man and woman are two complimentary parts of a whole. There's some controversy over the translation to "rib" - I think it could be intentional wordplay as hebrew is full of double meanings like this.

If you make a clone and it's the opposite gender and you have sex with them, is it sex, incest or masterbation?
Technically speaking, a clone of a man with XX Male Syndrome could have the erroneously crossed over SRY gene knocked out, resulting in a female that is genetically identical in every way except for the bit of code that activates "male mode". I think most people would consider that close enough.

I will be very honest. If troons and pro-troon scientists could actually wave a Godlike hand and create a fully functioning woman from a male (anything), then I’d admit you can change your gender and we wouldn’t have to have these arguments. Because the troons would be right!
