Is anyone surprised? It's the nastiest of all possible combinations: women, who are quick to judge, emotional, and selfish joined with a holier than thou political group that preaches that anyone who doesn't believe exactly what they do is the second coming of Hitler.
I'm only surprised that they are twice as bad as Democratic men. I would have guess that the politics was a bit more determinative than that.
Especially since progressive men are so feminine.

I did my part and fought with the trannies that run that shit for years.
I still have a "live" account, but I have greatly reduced using Reddit at all because why bother adding value to that site? I'm just using KIA2 & Twitter now.
Twitter is more punishing in that a "nobody" anon like me gets very little engagement and views compared to reddit, but it has a lot of up sides as well. I can directly engage with people in the national security establishment & think tanks and focus on topics I'm interested in.
There are also lots of good culture war accounts on Twitter that get great info out much faster than the media does.
Yeah I've met those types too, I'm lucky to have a good BS detector though I think my gaydar suffered as a result lol.
I once used that to immediately call out one of my mother's old friends when I was younger, thing was, she agreed and was only because I took my mother to the side and calmly pointed out her friends bullshit harassing a store employee that she got out of that toxic relationship.
Always have either yourself or a trusted friend that can immediately call out bs.
Eh, there were a number of people that I quit listening to entirely (Sam Harris, for instance) because they wouldn't shut the fuck up about Trump. On any topic, it came back to Trump. And the worst thing about it was that it was never an actual, specific criticism -- just Orange Man Bad.
There are also some friends I pretty much stopped hanging out with for the exact same reason. It wasn't because they had different opinions, it was because they wouldn't talk about anything else.
So I wonder how many of those non-Democrats that blocked/unfriended people did so because they were sick of it, not because they couldn't tolerate different views.
It used be common practice not to talk politics or religion outside of certain situations and friend groups. Leftists specifically rejected this practice because theirs is an ideology of endless strife.

Long time female friend posted some Democrat meme about how Republicans hate women, with pics of a few stupid Republicans giving dumb quotes trying to oppose abortion in cases of rape.
I commented something like "while I support abortion, I also respect the fact that pro-life people honestly believe that they need to save the life of a baby. from their perspective, you are executing the child for the crime of the father. that's not hating women, it's trying to protect innocent children."
I got flamed by her libtard friends & she blocked me. I asked her why. She was actively lobbied by multiple people pressuring her to block me & she simply wasn't close to me enough anymore to be willing to go to bat for me against that social pressure, so she did the easy thing.
I got FB blocked by a guy I had been friends with since elementary school (literally knew him since first grade through college). After college, our home state passed a voter ID law. He had moved to a different state by that time, and his new state already had voter id.
He had a meltdown about Republican nazis discriminating against blacks, etc., and ranting about how glad he was to have left our home state.
I posted on his FB "Glad you're happy in your new home, but doesn't ___ already have voter ID law? Is it also run by fascist nazis?"
I was immediately blocked and I haven't heard from him since.
Literally 15 years of friendship gone in 30 seconds.
I sent a handwritten note when his dad died (his dad was based and ran a retail store until he was in his mid-80s...we used to hang out there in highschool) and never even heard anything back. It's sad.
Really sorry to hear that man. It is just so damn alien to me. How the hell does someone even get like that? I am pretty damn opinionated but I just couldn't imagine tossing away such an old friend for something so trivial.
I had a friend I had known for over a decade send an ultimatum to our friend group basically telling us to get on board with social justice crap or die.
Not coincidentally this was after he got a girlfriend who was one of those crazy feminists with "ptsd" from rape (given how hysterical she is I doubt that even happened). He was always left leaning but at least he used to keep his mouth shut about it.
The really mind blowing thing about it is that she's like a 3/10 with makeup. I could understand it if she was hot, and attribute his stupid behavior to him thinking with his dick, but she isn't. She's about as mediocre as they come and crazy to boot. I fucking hate leftist ideology for what it has done to people.

What bothers me the most is that I never said bad things during the conversations and yet they were calling me so many negative insults. What a bizarre time.
If you ever hinted at your politics being anything but standard issue DSA and interacted with the kinds of people who turned into communist activists, there are absolutely people who would instantly remember you as a deranged Nazi and denounce you if you ever resurfaced.
Even that's enough to trigger it in some of the most radicalized ones now. It's truly ghastly.

I might never have stumbled upon r/tumblrinaction and by extension the original KIA if it weren't for a facebook interaction with a woman I knew in highschool. I made the "mistake" of disagreeing with her opinion on a facebook post slandering all men, and it turned into this giant fucking thread about how uneducated I was, how I needed to check my privilege, etc. I was baffled by where all this rage was coming from seeing as we went to a blue ribbon school in a wealthy area, and she was by no means oppressed.
The real irony is that I would likely still be an ignorant NPC if it weren't for a hysterical feminist woman yelling at me and blocking me later.
There were several gradual updates but the major version revision was Trump. I still remember my first exposure to the word "heteronormative", being admonished for saying bitch by people I used to make Hitler jokes with, etc, but Trump was the point of no return.
Women can't think for themselves so they require some kind of religion to guide them, or else they feel the overwhelming anxiety of a herd animal that is alone.
