See also, Spring Break which always coincides with Easter (at least it always did when I was in school). Or Winter Break which always coincided with Christmas. Or even Toy Day in Animal Crossing lest we somehow offend people who want to culturally appropriate Christian holidays and get in on the fun without having to actually associate with Christians or Christianity. They want to have their Christmas fruit cake and eat it too.
For real, I’m not very religious either. Last time I set foot in a church was 2008 when we buried a friend of mine who’d been in a car wreck. It’s not that I’ve been angry with god or anything like that, I just got busy, ya know. Life keeps you busy and before you know it, it’s been years.
But with all the bullshit and pretty much open satanism reigning down on us from all sides I’ve felt a strong urge to go back sometime soon, especially seeing the crazy enthusiasm my little girl (4) has shown for some of the bible stories I read her at bedtime.
I know MY soul is safe from these perverts running the world, but it’s the kids I’m worried about man. We have to save the kids from this shit.
Lethn is right that lots of churches are getting pozzed, but you can find ones that aren't. I'm a Methodist going to a traditionalist church, if you're into that end of things look for places affiliated with the Global Methodist Church. Catholic, look for a Latin mass. Orthodox is pretty solid, Russian a bit more than Greek. Those are the ones I know, other denominations have similar splits to the Methodists.
Because Christendom is literally a tree, as Jesus Christ described with the parable of the mustard seed. Branches sometimes fall off and those branches grow roots.
I don't think it's fair to write off all churches because some of them are not Christian. There's still plenty of good ones, just avoid the megachurches (or approach with caution) as they're far more likely to be woke.
If it took you until Gamergate to notice how this stuff works, I can see why nobody wanted to listen to you. Especially with your brilliant tactic of "just cede all the ground bro, your entire faith and God and everlasting soul don't mean shit cuz subversives are in the church for the first time in history!!"
I did not but I can see why you'd think that. Considering your own sanctimonious attitude towards other people, it would be hard to be called out for being such.
You knew they hated Christians when they referred to Christian victims of a terror attack as “Easter worshippers”, a phrase previously unseen. Now they can’t even say Easter.
"Whites have no culture!"
"Yeah, not after you tore it down with state backing, squelching any resistance with the aid of mass media while replacing it with anything that promotes degenerate hedonism, conspicuous consumption and a veneration of whatever those in power promoted. Now pass me that shoe leather, you had your bite."
"Easter" isn't even a particularly Christian word to begin with.
Death and rebirth is a common theme for spring festivals. There are all kinds of ways to express that concept.
But some people can't be happy enough to leave everyone to celebrate the same holiday their own way, with a common, traditional name that's been used for centuries.
Well, at least I know who to avoid when they react poorly to "Happy holiday name". There's been forces trying to kill halloween, too, since I was a kid.
Well in your linked example, it’s the city government that’s putting on the event. I’m sure that they don’t want to get sued by angry atheists with nothing better to do, plus with it being Berkeley, I doubt they care much anyway. You can pretty much expect governments from shying away from using the term “Easter” to describe anything for fear of being sued.
Stop it with the victim complex. Easter Bunny and Egg hunts have a long tradition, parallel with the one from the more theocratic places. I also wouldn't say anything about over-writing history here, or Ostara will get mightily sad.
They literally murdered Christian children in cold blood just a few weeks ago, and most leftists sided with the killer. So fuck off with your “victim complex” tardery.
Another phrase the woke tend to throw out. Tiresome, and a recent tragedy doesn't justify something that's been going on for longer, nor does it cancel it out.
You do know that you can check the account ages, right, mr 28 days.. I despise all identity politics equally, woke and religious both. You can go back to daily stormer instead of assuming shit, but I guess that involves actually thinking instead of just reacting to childhood brainwashing.
Yet again another assumption. I hate islam more than christianity if anything. I do the exact same thing to them whenever they rear their ugly religion.
You should check your reading comprehension, or are you going senile? You do know you called me a psychopath and a redditor before I called you a daily stormer, no?
There's absolutely zero evidence of the Easter Bunny or Easter egg hunts predating Christianity you fucktard. And the only historical sources on most West Germanic pre-christian paganism are CHRISTIAN sources, because pagans were too dumb and busy frolicking around being degenerates to write anything down.
Because christianity tends to re-write history, or burn it, or tear down old ruins or monuments to build churches. But you wouldn't know that if you only read one book..
So that's what the leftists are doing? They're going after Yule and whatever the fuck spring pagan festival Easter replaced because they AREN'T Christian? Give me a fucking break. They are clearly attacking Christians. What ancient 9000 year old pagan holiday that people originally celebrated on the spring equinox where they caught and butt fucked bunny rabbits and juggled chicken eggs doesn't matter in this context as it's not relevant. Am I wrong? Or do you think it's really right wing Christians who want to purge heretical holidays from the true faith? No, you're just a disingenuous troll.
Didn’t Biden call them April Worshippers or some shit last year?
April showers enjoyers

Spring break rarely coincided with Holy Week when I was growing up. In Idaho it's scheduled for planting season.
Obama referred to victims of a brutal terror attack on a Christian church as Easter Worshippers.
I'm not even religious and I still respect that it's Easter and what it represents.
For real, I’m not very religious either. Last time I set foot in a church was 2008 when we buried a friend of mine who’d been in a car wreck. It’s not that I’ve been angry with god or anything like that, I just got busy, ya know. Life keeps you busy and before you know it, it’s been years.

"Don't go to church and gatekeep just let them take it over"
Bro, why do you think there's so many branches of Christianity in the first place?
Because Christendom is literally a tree, as Jesus Christ described with the parable of the mustard seed. Branches sometimes fall off and those branches grow roots.
Hmm. Interesting.
What's the difference between a Methodist and a Presbyterian?
I don't think it's fair to write off all churches because some of them are not Christian. There's still plenty of good ones, just avoid the megachurches (or approach with caution) as they're far more likely to be woke.
I'm an autistic monk who studies the Bible at home far away from people.
I've become friends with the birds and have fellowship with them.
Normal people should try local house churches though (the corporate ones are what's diseased), I am a disabled mute on my way out of this place.
May Babylon fall, I pray for the safety and strength of my brothers and sisters in the process, all the way to glory.

Especially with your brilliant tactic of "just cede all the ground bro, your entire faith and God and everlasting soul don't mean shit cuz subversives are in the church for the first time in history!!"
You did actually. Its right there. "Don't go to church." "I saw it during Gamergate." All there man.
I did not but I can see why you'd think that. Considering your own sanctimonious attitude towards other people, it would be hard to be called out for being such.
I'm not sure why you got downvoted. I gave you a free upvote, even though I think the whole Satanism thing is ridiculous.
Proper Christians are also staunchly opposed to the practice of witchcraft.

They just hate White people.
Easter goes to Christianity. It's the same as when people pointed out the, " attack on Christmas" and we're ignored.
♫
They'll have bombs and they'll have tanks,
Because they have money in their banks,
But we won't fall as long as we can fight.
They'll go on and preach their hate,
But they won't get past the gate
Keep your rifle by your side.
♫
don't you just love it when they make incredibly based things to try and mock their enemy?
We should be getting the Eostre pics that turned out to not be true at all. It's the Spring season after all.
Don't stop saying Easter.
The worst part is the event is kids searching a park at night in the drug capital of California. Hope they have narcan on standby.
This has been going on for awhile actually. Easter was one of the first things leftists attacked as it was harder to get people upset about Christmas.
Used to be everyone got Good Friday off.

Same thing as the Taliban tearing down budha statues.
Trans is their religion, the trans man cut off his genitals for your sins, and they grow intolerant of any competing religion.
Easter is a pagan name anyway. I don’t care.

Kill yourself retard.
It’s not a victim complex when your group is actively being victimized.

Funnily, the woke use the exact same phrase..
Strange. Almost like the truth of words matters even more than the words themselves.

https://www.christianitytoday.com/history/2010/february/how-fast-of-lent-gave-us-easter-eggs.html
You should read some other books. About Freyja, Aphrodite, Eostre, Hewsos, and other spring celebrations dating back more than two thousand years.
This is Reddit tier faggotry.
Are you also going to pretend that Christmas wasn't blatantly wallpapered over Yule?
So that's what the leftists are doing? They're going after Yule and whatever the fuck spring pagan festival Easter replaced because they AREN'T Christian? Give me a fucking break. I've been here longer than you.
You're acting like a nigger.
Get out of my forum.
And there I was worried you actually had a rebuttal to what I said.
No mention of erasing Norse culture in the "holy" teaching then.. not surprising.
