Isn’t this also what happened at the Parkland shooting? Cops sat outside with their thumbs up their asses while there was a known shooter at large?

If the police won’t run into a hail of bullets to save a bunch of school children then what the fuck are we paying them for? Oh right, to throw us in prison if we don’t pay our taxes.

A soldier doesn't get to go, "Sorry chief, but it looks a little dangerous there. I'm not going." Why do we allow the people we pay to protect us do so? If you don't want the danger, get another job!

Because their job is not to protect us, its to arrest criminals. Im not being snarky, that is literally what they're supposed to do. Which is why the anti gun crowd is so stupid when they say cops will protect you. They're literally not paid to do that

Someone should break it to the cops that active shooters in schools... tend to be criminals. Arresting them seems like a good policy.

At the Parkland shooting, we know for a fact that this was ordered by the police higher-ups to stay outside, even when many of the beat cops were actually trying to go in, because the normal protocol is to go in immediately.

Can't have the locals interfere with a federally orchestrated shooting, after all.

Why do you refuse to believe that the government, specifically law enforcement, are incapable of being inept?

You do you, but I'm not going to bet my life on the idea that the people that hate me are inept.

Buddy, if our enemies were competent, we'd all be dead by now.

We are blessed that are enemies are functionally retarded.

First off 2 cops got shot, second he then locked himself in a classroom and killed everyone there, third the he was contained in said classroom ny police who couldn't get in because of reinforced doors so there was no more hails of bullets, 4th you're a retard for falling for this shit

who couldn't get in because of reinforced doors

I'd like to see more evidence of this. There may have been other ways into the classroom, or other tools that could have forced opened the door.

If you read the article you find out the headline actually understates the problem. Police were continually stopping parents from trying to rescue their children. This woman was able to bring several kids out of the school, but one of the dads was pepper sprayed and his 10yo daughter was murdered. I can't say for sure that they prevented him from saving his daughter, maybe she was already dead, but what I would do to police in that situation cannot be discussed because of Rule 2.

Fuck it, I’ll say it: they stopped him from saving his daughter.

These cucked pieces of shit will hold you back and beat your ass if you try to stop a mentally-ill faggot from killing your children but it’s totally law-abiding White men with legally-purchased-firearms we need to worry about.

▲ 24 ▼

And even if he couldn’t save his daughter he may have been able to save someone else’s kid while they waited 40 minutes to go in and do their damn jobs.

Instead now he has to live with the fact that he wasn't even allowed to try to save his child, and instead was pinned on the ground pepper sprayed outside.

The kids that died were in one classroom that the shooter locked himself in. Do you think these parents are super heroes who are going to bust down a reinforced steel door. What would have happened is the parents would have rioted and injured other people's kids then the shooter would have taken advantage of the chaos to unlock the door and shoot more victims.

Those doors typically have windows on them. a cop did eventually get there and shot him. The parents did not know that and it’s unlikely the cops did since they sat outside for 40 minutes.

It gets way, way worse. Police went in to save their own children, while stopping parents from doing so.

The article says the handcuffed mother had to drive 40 miles just to get to the scene.

And police still hadn't mounted a response to breach the school.

I also see a tough guy cop with his Taser drawn threatening to taze the distressed parents in the Rumble video in the article.

Same.

The cops shouldn't be going to that kind of length to stop someone from risking their life to save their own child. They should've warned him of the danger, and then they should've handed him a gun.

Cop worship is one of the areas where the right has it wrong. The state is not your friend and police are the principal force-projection apparatus of the state. They do the bidding of the government and enforce laws as written, not the principles or values which they (allegedly) represent.

Picture if you will, were there no police interference, a horde of armed parents descending like the hammer of god on the shooter in defense of their children. The shooter would have counted himself lucky to have had time to eat one of his own bullets before those parents had their way with him.

I agree, but the it's not like the left isn't even more retarded with their 'All cops are bastards, defund the police' stupidity.

The left's Defund the Police is dangerous because they want to replace the cops with their own official brownshirts instead. Not even getting into the fact that they also want to disarm you.

So like everything the Puritan Left do, their opposition is based on one principle: They don't control it.

Defund the police if we reinstate a mandatory militia.

They do the bidding of the government and enforce laws as written, not the principles or values which they (allegedly) represent.

They used to be the other way around. The problem is that the left subverted the meaning of what it is to be a cop from "good guy who catches bad guys" to "government worker enforcing law". Globally, countries have moved away from local coppers to law enforcement officers, and the spirit changed with the name.

I don't think it was wrong to support police along with the rest of emergency services. It was a difficult, mostly-thankless job with high risk. More importantly, it used to be the case that a community was policed by someone from that community.

Like all changes stemming from globalist/city policy and culture, the one-size-fits-all solution fits everything poorly. The international/globalist police officer is no different.

They used to be the other way around.

When? Even for all soviet propaganda of good guys from militia (yeah, the irony of Soviet Union calling their law enforcement boots 'militia') I got to read in my childhood, the cold harsh truth here is that "good cops" are inherent minority.

More importantly, it used to be the case that a community was policed by someone from that community.

As was the case here. A cop being local to community does not make him any more caring about said community.

When?

The past- probably before you were born if that's your opinion. Of course, it's going to vary from region to region, but it used to be that your local cop grew up there, knew everyone, and was expected to enact justice in a fair manner because people are living, laws are dead. Bad apples were the odd one out, not the whole goddamn bunch.

A cop being local to community does not make him any more caring about said community

A cop anyone will absolutely care more about their home than some rando who drives in from a couple towns over.

Maybe in another place. Down here it was reality for longer than US existed in various incarnations. Granted, down here they have long learned to make sure local boots are not local born exactly to prevent good apples from doing anything useful.

If you look into how the shooter prepared for this, and then his absurd efficiency, it makes so little sense it makes Vegas look like a clear cut case.

Not a chance. You violently over-estimate the competency of government agents, and wildly under-estimate the misery and resentment of school shooters.

Federal marshals are not just hanging around a tiny Texas town waiting for trouble to occur. How were they on the scene well under 40 minutes is something I would like to see answered.
