The controversial quest to make a 'contagious' vaccine. A new technology aims to stop wildlife from spreading Ebola, rabies, and other viruses. It could prevent the next pandemic by stopping pathogens from jumping from animals to people. (archive.ph)

The elites obviously want to do this but they likely won't ever admit it openly.

The scientist in the article Redwood claims that this technology won't be used on humans but I don't buy it.

Even if this technology is only used on animals, the risks of any mistake greatly outweigh any benefits.

This is a terrible idea.

Scientists these days are becoming psychotic.

Isn't one of the proposed reasons Covid happened something about a mutation of an existing animal disease ... ?

That's because you missed the subtext:

In China, Ukraine, or wherever they think they can get away with it, they'll continue their mad science. Can't create man-made horrors beyond human comprehension in your own country? Outsource it to one that will and has 0 concern for moral or ethical implications.

No, the correct response to such an attack is to kill the people attacking you.

There is an interesting avenue of moral philosophy to pursue.

If the only possible means of self-defense is a pre-emptive strike, do you have the moral standing to attack first?

I suppose there has been a similar line of inquiry during the MAD days, but even those would be more akin to simultaneous attacks than pre-emptive.

I think the key point to remember here is that your enemy intends to attack you and will do so regardless of your actions. I see no moral failure in striking down someone who is acting in an effort to harm me and my loved ones.

The scary part is when you apply that line of reasoning to percieved, imagined, or otherwise invented threats.

"Of course the Conservatives are going to murder gays and rape women! That's why we need to kill them now!"

Just food for thought.

Societies only functions because of shared values allow various factions to comprise through common goals. We can't even agree on reality, such as the definition of woman. Conflict is inevitable, and there is no reason to consider the other side's viewpoint outside of tactical necessity.

A counter point with some merit, but I would posit that the Left already holds that stance and just hasn't started openly bloodletting yet.

I agree that the collective Left is chomping at the bit to cleanse. I just think it's important to keep ourselves in check last we replace the very monsters we fight.

I used to think as you do. Over the last several years I've come to the conclusion that the only way to survive the coming turmoil is to become monsters. Or at least something approximating this sentiment: https://i.imgur.com/oV7JNsQ.jpg

I guess they have decided to rename the term "bioweapons" as "contagious vaccines".

Wasn't this allegedly what they were trying to do in Wuhan, modifying a bat coronavirus so that it could be used to vaccinate bat populations against the original virus?

Yes And Omicron is another example of this. Genetically modified to be more contagious and released from a lab in Africa

Yes, but it wasn't even the original virus. It was a hypothetical virus they were trying to innoculate against, because there were no actual candidates that could have jumped to humans. They speculated as to what such a virus would look like, then created it at Wuhan.

Covid-19 is the unattenuated vaccine they created to innovulate against a virus that didn't yet exist.

And humanity will deserve everything bad it gets for fucking with other species like it's some sort of godling.

Keep in mind the Chinese have had the ability to engineer rats of higher intelligence since 2009, and have been accused by India of releasing some. It only takes ONE mutation in ONE gene to make a smart being even smarter.

Each of these vaccines uses a cytomegalovirus, or CMVs, a group that belongs to the herpes family.

Oh great, they're going to give us all the herp, in order to...

Several small studies have demonstrated that the CMV-based Ebola and bovine tuberculosis vaccines are effective when delivered through traditional injections. Across two trials involving about 50 monkeys, the CMV-based tuberculosis vaccine reduced disease by 68 percent, researchers reported. In a separate study, three out of four monkeys vaccinated with the Ebola vaccine survived direct exposure to Ebola.

... create vaccine-resistant Ebola. What a fantastic idea.

Although the evolutionary factors underlying CMV’s species-specificity are not entirely known, there has never been a documented case in the wild or in a laboratory of a successful cross-species CMV infection.

So we don't entirely know how this all works now, but we're entirely certain that once we start fucking with it, nothing bad will happen.

"The new generation of 'contagious' vaccines is designed to leak out of labs on its own already containing the necessary Moderna genetic sequence to attach to human cell receptors", explained unofficial CDC researcher Professor E. Vil Foker.

"We have received generous under the table grants from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases through anonymous Chinese investors to develop this technology and have partnered with the Wuhan Virology lab to leverage their experience in this field. These are exciting times in contagious vir... vaccine research", proclaimed Professor Foker, wringing his hands.

There's no profit in a self spreading vaccine though so I'm not sure where this will go.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– Shill4Hire 3 points 4 years ago +3 / -0

Sure there is!

Because when you have a self-spreading vaccine, you also get a self-spreading illness that is more resiliant. The main concern with biological warfare is the chance of the virus mutating and killing your own people, but if you can send out simultaneously a contagious vaccine that only effects, in example, Chinese people, but a virus that only effects non-Chinese people (again, just in example), then you safeguard yourself against biological weapon feedback.

And there's ALWAYS profit in military technology development. The art of killing people different than yourself is always in vogue, and always sells, unfortunately.
