Plenty of people outright lied at the Chauvin trial. Chauvin's superior claimed their training materials forbade kneeling on suspects while the training materials were available as evidence and showed the technique. There was a doctor expert witness who said that smoking doesn't damage the lungs and heart because "they just work harder to compensate". A juror went bragging to the media about his BLM activism within a week after the trial's conclusion. Nobody happened to any of these people and Chauvin will rot in prison for decades.
I don't think Rittenhouse is getting away with less than three murder convictions. The Cathedral will shove that into everyone's faces and dare anyone with a spine to try and do something about it.

Then finally, all those fucking lies get shoved back down his stupid fucking face, and he basically admits it's all bullshit.

And the media has been purely evil. They called Gaige the "Lone Survivor", and "Survivor", and "Shooting Victim". It makes me absolutely fucking sick.

Maybe I'm too cynical at this point but either this is a setup for a fucked up flex where they admit to wrongdoing and still get him prisoned or a deliberate attempt to get him declared innocent in order to give hoodlums a reason to riot.

I kept wondering why he keeps looking to his left but then I realized that's where the jury is sitting. The prosecutors probably told him his testimony was going to be the one to nail this thing, but he's trying too hard to appeal to the jurors and he brings an air of hubris. Can't wait to see this one go downhill from here.

I want the judge to dismiss with prejudice, and for the prosecutor to get some kind of sanction, and for this guy to get charged with attempted murder.
But the best we can probably hope for is Kyle getting off.
One of the big turning points that I hope happens to cool things down in this country will be judges growing insulted and angry with how little respect they're shown by State governments and the Federal government, but. So many of them have been corrupt or just going along to get along. Maybe things will change, maybe not. We'll just have to see. This case could be that moment.

I don't know enough about the jury to say for sure, but if the defense can't get at least one of them to hold firm it'll be a sad day for America.
