Plenty of people outright lied at the Chauvin trial. Chauvin's superior claimed their training materials forbade kneeling on suspects while the training materials were available as evidence and showed the technique. There was a doctor expert witness who said that smoking doesn't damage the lungs and heart because "they just work harder to compensate". A juror went bragging to the media about his BLM activism within a week after the trial's conclusion. Nobody happened to any of these people and Chauvin will rot in prison for decades.
I don't think Rittenhouse is getting away with less than three murder convictions. The Cathedral will shove that into everyone's faces and dare anyone with a spine to try and do something about it.
The biggest reaction to that whole exchange is Kyle's facial expression. He really looked like he was about to completely burst into tears.
Gaige was talking so much shit about how he wanted to kill Kyle, despite attempting to murder him in cold blood. He lied like a motherfucker at every turn. He tried to paint himself as a hero. He even fucking had the absolute gall to claim he was trying to help Kyle, and Kyle just shot him for no reason at all!
Then finally, all those fucking lies get shoved back down his stupid fucking face, and he basically admits it's all bullshit.
Kyle was lynched. No, check that, Kyle is still being lynched, and the lynch mob is now just wearing suits. And finally all the lies and gaslighting caught up to the man that seemed to most want him dead, and is still trying to kill him. And the media has been purely evil. They called Gaige the "Lone Survivor", and "Survivor", and "Shooting Victim". It makes me absolutely fucking sick.

There's some pretty crazy aerial video available showing exactly what happened. I suppose the defense put the fear of perjury in these people.
