This is way worse than Saigon.

On a scale of 1 - 10, with Saigon being a 5 and 10 being Napoleon's Russian campaign, I'd say this is about a 7.

If this was a 7, Napoleon's campaign was at least a 200. It's a fuckup to be sure, but not a "10+ divisions completely wiped out, 5+ divisions captured" fuckup.

True I may have been a little hyperbolic.

On a scale of military fuck ups, Saigon is like a 3 or 4. This is like a 6.5 or 7. Russian invasions are like a 9.

Reason for my scale, we have better information gathering. It's not just lives lost, but also failure to plan, etc.

I was just about to say we're somewhere between invading russia in the winter and kicking adolf out of art school.

I just can't wait to see how he tops this.

He hasn't even been in office for a year yet and he's sent prices through the roof, destroyed jobs, and is now directly responsible for the biggest military boondoggle since the naval battle of Guadalcanal.

He'll top it once we get to January 21, 2023, when either he announces his resignation from the presidency, or he is hospitalized (never to return), and the transfer of power shifts to Harris. Two years and a day is all he needs to serve for her to be able to not only take power for the rest of his term, but also be eligible to run for two more terms as president. They're just praying that he lasts that long and they can continue to prop him up and pull a Weekend at Bernie's on the general public.

The recession is coming and it’s going to be long and brutal, as it’s combined with double-digit inflation.

No one can stop the cycle of the economy, not even the Party.

He should have stuck to Trumps date so Americans could get out while everyone is busy harvesting opium.

I wonder if they knew that the Afghanistan pull-out was going to be a debacle, and Biden was the designated patsy to have it happen during his term. Then he can go on to be replaced by someone they actually want.

Even Dems hate her. She has no friends, no allies.

Maybe not, but they'll damn sure rally around her as the head of power once they get the opportunity to remove his ass from the big chair in the oval office. Leftists are all two-faced sycophants that'll smile to your face when you're in power, while they talk shit about you behind your back and keep looking for a place to stick the knife at the first opportunity.

And Biden has made sure to surround himself with only the most devious backstabbing sycophants.

She was overtly undermined a month ago with that wave of negative press. I think she was put there as a distraction or to also be the fall guy. Whatever they have in mind it's something else.

Didn't Biden caused Saigon by obstructing the exit in Vietnam. So this is his second Saigon.

If everyone's cool with the electoral coup then probably nothing will come of this either. If anything it will just be used as the excuse to usher in President Pelosi.

No, not at all. At this point, I suspect that people will soon be calling Afghanistan the new Vietnam.
