I wonder if they knew that the Afghanistan pull-out was going to be a debacle, and Biden was the designated patsy to have it happen during his term. Then he can go on to be replaced by someone they actually want.

She has an important ally, her husband's friend who's on the board of a company that produces election software.
Maybe not, but they'll damn sure rally around her as the head of power once they get the opportunity to remove his ass from the big chair in the oval office. Leftists are all two-faced sycophants that'll smile to your face when you're in power, while they talk shit about you behind your back and keep looking for a place to stick the knife at the first opportunity.
And Biden has made sure to surround himself with only the most devious backstabbing sycophants.
She was overtly undermined a month ago with that wave of negative press. I think she was put there as a distraction or to also be the fall guy. Whatever they have in mind it's something else.
