So this is more of a gut thing than anything conclusive, but there’s been some recent rumblings on pushing inclusiveness and diversity on firearms, and we all know where that leads.
See the recent cover story for Recoil magazine, or this trashpile of a post found on the feed of someone I thought was sane and runs a well-regarded custom load-carrying gear company out of their home, but recently posted in favor of CRT using lefty buzzwords.
We all know O’Sullivan’s Law, and the funny thing is that simply by the virtue of the Right being painted as “gun nuts” by the greater Left for decades, it effectively was an expressly conservative industry.
That never stopped there from being Democrats who own guns, but even they were considered anathema to the greater party; the second amendment does not and should never have sole party affiliation.
I start seeing rainbow AR pictures with pithy hashtags being pushed, my spidey-sense goes off.
The funny thing is because of the Democrats constant harassment of the populace firearms ownership was becoming more diverse by virtue of people feeling they needed guns because the government wasn’t showing they can protect them.
But, hey: Since gun control is losing favor amongst the entire population, why not just pull the same shit that destroyed so many other industries?
I am ruefully awaiting the day where I see an earnest email coming from someone from a gun company that has their preferred pronouns in their signature, and a press release comes out stating they don’t feel their products should be available for sale to the general population.
Firearms were naturally morphing into an industry that promoted organic equality; I now feel that we’re going to see equity pushed onto the market.
A foolish mistake an individual can make is thinking that members of the far left are not currently training with guns, and are not being instructed in basic combat tactics by left-leaning veterans.
As for sexual degeneracy reigning supreme during the decline of a society, we have Weimar Germany as a recent example that the collective establishment loves to gaslight people into thinking didn’t exist.
There was a certain segment of the old school left who would go out of their way to enlist not because they wanted to serve their country but because the government would teach them a bunch of stuff they wanted to learn about weapons, explosives, and tactics; and pay them for the privilege.

Recoil Magazine is controlled opposition anyway. They nearly got boycotted out of business over their second or third issue. Guns are already pretty gay, as there's a fairly substantial "carrying a gun will keep you safe, too" mindset in the gay community. But I don't see it going "woke." Gun guys have loooooong memories.
If this is going on, then those of us active in the pro 2A groups will have to really work hard to keep this crap out.
The boomers who participate in shooting matches and their local ranges are stuck decades behind and really do not have any idea about the equity bs. Most of 'em actually think the NRA's actually out there keeping the left from banning guns. They have no idea what's going on.
I’ve had interactions with Pink Pistols as they did a lot of boots on the ground lobbying when we were trying to pass CCW. In fact did far more that the NRA especially because they could approach democrats where the NRA couldn’t.
But the chapter here dissolved pretty much within two years of CCW passing.

I recently bought a game that had been on my wishlist since very early access and had released, got into character creation, and instead of "street urchin, bard" or "blacksmith's apprentice, highwayman", what I got for character creation was "pick the flavor of fagaloon that makes your fronthole tingle". Zir, 'male', female body, male voice, pansexual? Yep, there's your RPG element.
Refunded that shit inside of ten minutes, and spent five of them messing with video options and looking at keybinds.

I like guns and I've been browsing gun subreddits for the past two years at least.
There is absolutely a concerted effort at infiltration.
The mods of /r/Firearms seem to be uncorrupted thus far, and they're as pro 1A as they are 2A, to their credit.
However, that means the subreddit is vulnerable to vote manipulation and shills. And I know it when I fucking see it because it's crystal clear based on the content of the comments in relation to the post itself.
You've got actual commies trying to convince pro-gun Americans that they're on the same side. The posts get heavily upvoted but then literally everyone in the comments are tearing their ass apart. But each post stays on the front page for like over a day sometimes. There's also pro-mask retardation sprinkled in there.
Another thing I noticed is "muh based black guy posting a picture of himself with a gun" posts. Of course, no one cares if regular black dudes own guns, much like they don't care if gay dudes do, but there's something to these posts featuring such people that seems off. It's almost like a gamer-girl post, like teehee look I'm into this hobby too. It's just a picture of a black/fag with a gun and literally nothing else, but it gets massively upvoted. I suspect vote manipulation, of course, because the posts themselves offer virtually nothing than the opportunity to upvote for "inclusivity". The one about the fag on the magazine cover stunk of it too.

I enjoy the aesthetic of a gaming rig that looks the part. A lot of the high performance stuff comes with RGB now, or it's a trivial difference in price. The problem is the shit parts that add lights to distract from how shitty they are.
Anyone with a FFL and SOT can start a gun manufacturer tomorrow. If woke shit breaks one, there are 10 startups that want to take its place.
Everybody and their dog wants a AR15, easily made using a CNC machine and commercially available forgings. There is hardly any hurdles to overcome in getting started except startup costs and actually sourcing the raw materials. Your biggest issue would be the multi-year backorder you'd have before you shipped your first gun.
