So this is more of a gut thing than anything conclusive, but there’s been some recent rumblings on pushing inclusiveness and diversity on firearms, and we all know where that leads.

See the recent cover story for Recoil magazine, or this trashpile of a post found on the feed of someone I thought was sane and runs a well-regarded custom load-carrying gear company out of their home, but recently posted in favor of CRT using lefty buzzwords.

We all know O’Sullivan’s Law, and the funny thing is that simply by the virtue of the Right being painted as “gun nuts” by the greater Left for decades, it effectively was an expressly conservative industry.

That never stopped there from being Democrats who own guns, but even they were considered anathema to the greater party; the second amendment does not and should never have sole party affiliation.

I start seeing rainbow AR pictures with pithy hashtags being pushed, my spidey-sense goes off.

The funny thing is because of the Democrats constant harassment of the populace firearms ownership was becoming more diverse by virtue of people feeling they needed guns because the government wasn’t showing they can protect them.

But, hey: Since gun control is losing favor amongst the entire population, why not just pull the same shit that destroyed so many other industries?

I am ruefully awaiting the day where I see an earnest email coming from someone from a gun company that has their preferred pronouns in their signature, and a press release comes out stating they don’t feel their products should be available for sale to the general population.

Firearms were naturally morphing into an industry that promoted organic equality; I now feel that we’re going to see equity pushed onto the market.
