Ignore the baby, does that women looks like someone who trains?

Look how skinny the legs are and hands are just fat. This women barely goes for walks.

Not to mention, rarely do fit women get to be that size while pregnant. Everyone is different, but we've seen fit women cause outrage during pregnancy for how tiny their belly stays. Usually its very notable the entire organ and doesn't have that massive hangover flap.

People are so used to pregnant women being spoiled and overweight to begin with they forget that it isn't a requirement for them to be broken bloated blimps.

When I was younger I played hockey and tried to keep my wind up by doing aerobics in the offseason. My instructor got pregnant and kept teaching the class up until the day she gave birth. Belly was smaller than mine the whole time.

Its amazing the misconceptions people just accept as reality on even their own bodies. All to serve their own laziness and desire to be pampered.

Haha woman I worked with cleaned pools 9 months pregnant through both of her pregnancies. Customers kept calling the office and awkwardly asking if she was okay. Women can stay active through pregnancy as long as they dont over do it. They definitely shouldn't start exercising for the first time while carrying a child. That being said, this nike commercial is fucking disturbing lol it's like watching a pregnant woman at a concert with a beer and a cigarette in her hand.

Core exercises are dangerous for the baby starting around the end of the first. Some women keep doing them out of ignorance or vanity but they should not.

And if you do not, then you'll still have some baby damage which will take significant time and effort to tighten up regardless of shape before pregnancy.

Well obviously excercises focused on the area the baby is shouldn't be done. I can't do 10 successful workouts of deadlifts in a row without something going wrong.

But there is a wide gap between "avoid specific dangerous workouts" and "cease to remain fit and active, become blimp for rest of life."

No doubt. I don't think I advocated the latter.

But your statement that fit women don't have some loosening of skin and muscle after babies is not generally accurate

▲ 1 ▼
– Adamrises 1 point 5 years ago +1 / -0

I didn't say anything like that. Only that they have less size increase, and aren't as completely broken by the process as most believe is normal. I don't see where you even got that from my statement.

▲ 2 ▼
– DogFacedPepeSoldier 2 points 5 years ago +2 / -0

I inferred it from "hangover flap". If you didn't mean the normal kinda pouch like stretching that most to all women have for a while after giving birth then I apologize for mischaracterizing your comment.

I had meant the actual belly extending over like a flap while pregnant as you can see in this very photo. Where gravity itself is sagging it down and creating an "underbelly" pocket.

Aren't feet and ankle problems regular struggles for pregnant women? Won't this just exacerbate that considerably to a point of extreme danger?

Nike could just make shoes for that purpose and serve the same idea, but that would fail the masturbating mom's "ability to do anything" in service of actually helping them.

Yep. Sciatica, too. Which seems like it would be exacerbated by kicking

Fun fact about pregnancy: The hips can actually split apart where they join at the pubic bone starting in the 2nd or 3rd trimester. It's extremely painful for those it happens to and it is totally out of the control of the woman.

But yeah, go ahead. Tell women they can do whatever they want and set that expectation. My wife was devestated by her pregnancy and the feelings of helplessness it caused, despite trying to be active and eat well. She was ill from beginning to end and in pain for 80% of it.

If she falls doing a kick like that (or for any other reason), she risks doing serious harm to her child.

Describing his female sparring partners' body parts as being "silky soft," "delicate" and "flimsy" is demeaning and is blatant chauvinism.

In a dojo where men are told to hold back and to pull their punches when sparring women, you are not allowed to refer to women as delicate and flimsy, which they are, because that is demeaning and chauvinistic.

Let us end this "battle of the sexes" once and for all and get back into the true spirit of the martial arts, which is respect, peace and empowerment.

Oh the 90s. The naïveté.

The majority of MMA/self defence courses are trash and thrive on customers who don't know a damn thing about actually fighting to question their poor teaching. Of course they're going to advertise hard at the demographic least likely to have any prior practical knowledge.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 7 ▼
– Adamrises 7 points 5 years ago +7 / -0

And women are the type to think taking martial arts makes them safe, without the prerequisite getting swole and a gun. So its almost pure placebo for them.

This is why I appreciate that my instructor offers actual sparring. Nothing like real stress testing of all those techniques you've been taught.

"Hands up, mouth shut, chin down" is some real shit.

This is a nice time capsule.

I can imagine the barrage of letters you would receive (if not lawsuits) if the question had read "Do Afro-Americans Belong in the Dojo?"

Oddly enough both the far right and far left would at least entertain this question nowadays.

I admit that I have been afraid to spar with some of the men at my school because they were more powerful than I could ever be. And I know I may not be able to "defeat even an untrained man."

This is fringe language in 2021. If a man said that about women he'd be unpersoned.

It wouldn't surprise me if this is staged: some New World Order / globalist / Bolshevik / Great Reset "think-tank" decided they could do horrific damage to western civilization with this campaign.

They hate us almost as much as they hate Jesus Christ and love shekels.

The Bolsheviks were (militant) atheists. Early they were over-represented by the Jews but also by the Latvians (and in the Cheka by the Poles).

And later very over-represented were the Georgians, during the Stalinist period. The Georgians also largely killed the Poles (in the Polish Operation purge).

Militant atheist Latvians (a tiny Baltic nation):

Gustav Bokis, for instance, headed the mechanized forces of the Red Army, Jukums Vācietis served for a while as commander-in-chief, and Jēkabs Alksnis commanded the air force. Having played a key role in the Lockhart affair, Eduards Bērziņš was instrumental in setting up the Gulag system, while his namesake Jānis Bērziņš (real name Pēteris Ķuzis) was the creator and director of Soviet military intelligence.

My wife said the normal amount of extra calories a pregnant woman should get is 300 daily.

Most woman use pregnancy to eat whatever they want whenever they want, easily doubling the recommended 300 increase, if not 10xing it.

Seriously. My wife is thin and didn't even show she was pregnant until well into her third trimester. Her mother gained 60 pounds while pregnant with her, she was adamant that wouldn't happen.

Our kid isn't 3 months old and she's below her weight when she got pregnant. I'm super proud of her dedication and self-control.
