The game meets you halfway by just calling you "hunter" or "ace" all the time anyway, likely done to avoid having to record 2 sets of voiceovers from every character, and likely done before the text translation team got a hold of the game.
But if that bare minimum amount of change saves Capcom the trouble of being bitched at, then good for them. That's more resources they can put into actual game development instead of needlessly patching out a working system after a controversy.

So I don't play games anymore in general, but I thought I'd try Baldur's Gate 3 because it looks interesting and I always liked RPGs. What weirded me out was how in the character creator, whether you are male or female, you have the same voice selection (1, 2, 3, 4), and they alternate between male and female voices. I at first thought it was some kind of bug since the game is in early access, but then I realized they probably did it to please the trannies.
I don't want to hear a male voice attached to a female body, or vice versa. It's disgusting. Clearly games are not really designed for me any longer lol.
