The law specifically covers stillbirths and miscarriages.
New Zealand’s Parliament on Wednesday unanimously approved legislation that would give couples who suffer a miscarriage or stillbirth three days of paid leave, putting the country in the vanguard of those providing such benefits.
The new legislation will expand that leave to anyone who loses a pregnancy at any point, removing any ambiguity. The measure is expected to become law in the coming weeks.
The new law does not apply to abortions, Ms. Andersen added.

They represent the regular, non-radicalized left-leaning demographic; the average joe. They could see the insanity around them but they'd never bother prying away the flimsy drywall to reveal the infestation that lies underneath.
It's really not surprising that they'd be easily persuaded into one side of the fence or the other but they do give an important perspective on the mentality of people that thinks just like them.
I really don't see this to be the breaking point.
They would wait for the whole matter to blow over as usual, smother & gaslight the tribals with sweet nothings & falsehoods, distract them with inconsequential outrage bait and the whole affair would be memory holed in 1~2 years.
The users on the other hand would whine about reddit's staff and it's battalion of jannies but they would never move on from the site. They'd complain about it... but they're far too comfortable & addicted to the kind of validation that reddit provides with it's "safe spaces".
Just look at the retarded juxtaposition of people using reddit's award system to validate a post about protesting reddit.
Humiliating an entire group of schoolboys at the age of twelve would surely not fester a sense of indignation that would backfire on them ten years down the line.
