Not really going to happen because no matter what people's interpretation of what reality actually is varies heavily and there's the constant drive to insert bullshit into games by investors. We couldn't even get an authentic 15th century bohemia simulator without extreme amounts of marvel humor, feminism and token out of place Jews and a token black saving the country. We only get what financially the industry incentivises.
A few important distinctions:
-
Hard labour in United States will be significantly safer and potentially easier due to better equipment, regulations and standards.

You are going to want these jobs because they pay well. Part of the reason why there is a huge nursing shortage in Canada is because the pay is awful compared to a factory job. You can work 19 bucks an hour CAD to service 40 patients which often times means lifting 200 pounds every 10 minutes while lugging a cart that is around 300 pounds full of meds while at the same time dealing with angry patient families who think you are not giving good service (which you aren't because you have 40 patients) OR you can work in a mine doing similar back breaking labor and get paid 38 dollars CAD an hour. Even if I try to steelman the nursing position and say you are getting 32 dollars an hour (hospital wages) that's still lower than a mining job. You can't outsource nursing either but people don't want to work if they aren't getting paid properly. Mining jobs and factory jobs pay well.

US isn't Canada so it doesn't do stupid shit like freeze wages for extremely difficult jobs. The corps may be greedy but they still want the job done. You'll actually get benefits and have proper contracts that don't screw you out of benefits. At least I've not seen any real evidence that US resource extraction industry treats its workers like expendable trash.
All the people who could fight or go on an adventure are either trans'd, disenfranchised and broke or been MAID'd. But the US army would have severe difficulty killing people faster than the Canadian Healthcare system does.
I point this out but morons just say "well he's a foreigner so of course he'll put his culture above everyone else's" as if that's not an extremely racist conclusion in and out of itself or even addresses the frustration of having to deal with the character.
They don't shut up because the point of all of it is to virtue signal, rub it in and attention seek. If they were at all serious about improving their game or listening to feedback they'd go the no mans sky route of staying quiet and getting to work.
Its just funny to me that millions of people are going to buy this game because it was hyped so much when they're going to be greeted with extremely slow (probably even slower than morrowind) gameplay and character stat grinding and their reward for putting up with all of it is going to eventually cumulate into being screeched at by a feminist muslim doctor or being solicited for gay sex.
Then again millions still bought vielguard so perhaps people really are easily tricked into buying something expensive that they will clearly never like.
Whenever stuff like this happens it always the sequel or later offerings that suffers and not the origin of audience betrayal. Disney starwars was selling well even TLJ sold well and only started failing several movies later.
Unfortunately as a Canadian myself, let the tent cities grow. The job market is destroyed. The social system barely works. The healthcare system is on fire. Any amount of life support given is only going to prolong suffering and enable the stupidity that is prevalent in this country. Do you want to die quickly and painlessly or do you want to die a long drawn out death just so you can listen to these insufferable morons for several more years?
The best part is we aren't even putting money and profits before people. We're more broke than we've ever been. We literally are putting China and India before out people. They're getting rich, we aren't.
So what they mean is there is no room for blacks or Jews in the d&d universe? Because that's kinda what I notice when their reasoning for removing this stuff is because someone might think orcs are blacks and liches might be Jewish.
Wow your entire country submits to one dude in a chair and his two bodyguards who don't even appear to be armored or even trained? I wish authoritarian government's ran themselves like that... You could actually stop their tryanny that way.
I'm guessing the Ai was trained off of real-life kid photos? I don't think creating an AI that can take photos of kids and render them into porn is a safe thing. If it was anime shit or something then maybe the argument could be made that its not hurting anyone but if the pictures were based off realistic kids I think that's crossing a line.
The problem is that this guy got an opportunity. These days if you aren't an immigrant from the in-group preference ethnicities you are going to be expected to be perfect and even then they'll replace you with someone who admits they have zero experience in the field and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.
I have 5 years of experience in medicine and teaching and not only can I not get a nursing job anywhere despite the apparent "shortage" but I was replaced at a medical teaching job with a lady whose only experience was scheduling. They also kept trying to fill these teaching positions with minorities despite them never lasting for more than a few months because they sucked at their jobs or left.
How are people today going to do well if they go to school and the teaching is shit. They go to the workplace and the management is shit and won't hire actual talent or experienced individuals and rarely give chances to people that do have those. It's great that you acquaintance managed to get success but it seems more luck that he avoided DEI mandated pitfalls than because he kept trying. DEI has vaporized most people's reasons for continuing to try since you can try as hard as you can... they still want you replaced with their in-group ethnicity.
"However, if I created an 8bit sprite of that very same thing and told you that's what it was, you would not have the same reaction"
That's not true at all. People have the capacity to understand what the imagery represents and treat it as if it was real regardless of what it looks like. Some of the scariest games are the low res games because you have to use your imagination.
And again, we're not going to get immersion because the industry is too infatuated with anything but that.
