The real test is going to be whether TLJ is vindicated by history the way TESB - also known as the best SW film ever made - has been.

Were I a betting man, I know where I'd put my money.

Do we have an .onion site? If not, probably time to get one.

My thoughts exactly. It's an NC17 movie? That means it's already facing an uphill battle to break even or turn a profit based solely on its audience being limited right out of the gate - both by the rating itself and because some theaters refuse to show NC17 films. This is even before we get into whether the movie is any good and what word of mouth does to help or hinder it. A little publicity stunt goes a long way, I suspect.

Yep. I oppose all forms of censorship, I won't advocate for forcibly prohibiting people from reading their ideas or any others, no matter how repugnant, but I also reject this postmodern gender-snowflake horseshit worldview.

Video Game Outsiders is your answer if you want unwoke and occasionally anti-woke with a hefty dose of PCMR, old-school arcade enthusiasm and honest, irreverent takes on gaming news.

Also, if you want explicitly anti-woke (but with much lower production values), look into Splash Damage with Scrivonaut.

They must be banking on graphene battery tech advances, swappable/modular batteries or something else like that. Otherwise, yeah, charge time is going to be a damn near show-stopper.

Week 1: Terrifier (2016 Damien Leone)

Week 2: Brain Dead (a.k.a. Dead Alive, 1992 Peter Jackson)

Week 3: The Color Out of Space (2018 Richard Stanley)

Week 4: John Carpenter's The Thing and/or An American Werewolf in London

Week 5: Not a real big haunted house fan, but would Event Horizon count as it's been likened to a haunted house in space?

Okay but are you sure you're not a woman? How can you know, are you a biologist?

Bone Tomahawk for either slasher or creature feature.

WTF ever happened to superstraight anyway? It just kinda dropped off the face of the earth.

I don't think I'd go as far as to say "any fight ever." A contest of brute strength, definitely not, but dirty fighting exists. A woman armed with a knife is not something I'd take lightly, and that's not getting into ambushes or creative use of the environment.

"5-foot-5 90-pound spy chick throws 250lb hired thug through a concrete wall" isn't going to happen. However, "5-foot-5 90-pound spy chick gets the drop on 250lb hired thug by hiding in a dumpster and jumping out to wrap razor garrote wire around his throat" is more believable as it allows small size to work as an advantage instead of a liability. Blades or other sharp objects get around the size/strength difference to a large degree, plus other weapons like guns exist (though I'm trying to avoid that since it's obvious and misses the upper-body-strength point).

Of course that's not what the narrative demands. Can't have anything suggesting men and women are built different, even if doing so would make for interesting, asymmetrical fight scenes. Have to have Joss Whedon-style "tuff gurlz" fights with a 90-pound waif punching grown men center-mass and sending them flying.

Are the female agents/SecDef/reporter all professionals who keep their noses to the grindstone, do their jobs and get results without making things personal?

Because if so, that's probably it. Can't just be professional anymore, you have to inject politics and feelings into everything.

To pick a nit: Bipolar Disorder isn't a personality disorder the way BPD, Narcissistic, etc are. That said, a LOT of BPD people are misdiagnosed as having Bipolar instead so I can see whence cometh the error.

Also, if you haven't already and you're interested in the incursion of Cluster B into public discourse at large, listen to Joshua Slocum's "Disaffected" podcast. It's fascinating and the most insightful thing I've heard in as long as I've been following the culture war.

Gotta go full Snow Crash, though - get a motorcycle and keep the nuke in the sidecar, and get "POOR IMPULSE CONTROL" tattooed across your forehead.

Trans women are men.

Delusional men, but men nonetheless.

Sure puts the "men" in "menstruation," dunnit?
