Is it actually common in America to see TDS randomly kick in like that also irl?

I completely disagree, this is something new, and significantly worse.
But yeah, I think all of us have experience with a random person with TDS in real life. It's fucking startling. I've never seen anyone just randomly, in conversations they aren't involved in, or because they saw a shirt/flag/sign just start going on an unhinged psychotic and uncontrollable rant until Trump.
And look, I know people who ranted about Obama and FEMA Camps, I know people who said Bush should be executed as a War Criminal, I know people boomers who said Nixon should have been jailed, and that LBJ was a genocidal maniac.
No one has reacted the way Leftists do with TDS. Literally no one. Leftists will try and tell me that they were scared and saw MAGA people doing scary thing and glaring at them. Not one Leftist has ever spoken to me about a time where a Trump supporter literally started screaming at them and hurling shit because they heard the words "medicare for all". But literally everyone on the right has a story about the one day some random person wouldn't stop screaming at them about Trump. All of them.
Honestly, if you go back and read accounts from the 1960's, or even prior to the Civil War, or Revolutionary War, you don't hear people behaving like this. People got into fights, even shot each other, because of a political dispute. Nobody just randomly exploded.
And this is because the Useful Idiots of the Left are being psychologically and emotionally abused on an industrial scale, by people who are promoting and normalizing Cluster B personality disorders as normal, if not morally commendable. This is because, they themselves, are mentally ill people with Cluster B personality disorders. As a result, healthy people are being emotionally and psychologically trained to act as if they had Borderline, Bipolar, Historionic, or Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
This is both new and wildly abnormal. People actually don't behave like this, even when tensions are so high they break into a civil war. This is being done to innocent people on purpose.
To pick a nit: Bipolar Disorder isn't a personality disorder the way BPD, Narcissistic, etc are. That said, a LOT of BPD people are misdiagnosed as having Bipolar instead so I can see whence cometh the error.
Also, if you haven't already and you're interested in the incursion of Cluster B into public discourse at large, listen to Joshua Slocum's "Disaffected" podcast. It's fascinating and the most insightful thing I've heard in as long as I've been following the culture war.
