And this type of behavior is going to keep happening (for Tim, and Jeremy, and others) until people start doing perp walks for pulling this off. I know after the last time Tim said there were people under investigation, but until something starts happening to the swatters it's not going to stop.

First, you define rape. Over the last 5-10 years, large parts of the left has clearly been treating rape as "anything a woman doesn't like", so any rape exception would be tantamount to just saying at-will abortion.

Not sure how a bunch of stormcuck circlejerkers will solve this problem.

Who said anything about solving it? But, it is a logical reaction. Look at the "culture" of the Weimar Republic, and what happened after it.

But, I thought that a big part of the reason we were supposed to put Ukrainian flags on all our social media accounts was to help preserve the uniquely Ukrainian culture? Doesn't this just help erode that? Guess a new software patch needs to go out to the NPCs.

Wish it was. The line I just made up from their ridiculous Blizzcon presentation when they announced it a few years back, but the monetization is awful and it's already banned in a couple EU countries for breaking lootbox laws.

On the surface, I agree. However, while I do think GW would be OK with subbing an original Creed in for his daughter, for a lot of 40k tournaments GW will flat-out ban people if you show up with 3rd party or custom models, and a number of GW stores will kick you out if you try to play with non-official models.

For many Ukrainians, the theft of the grain — and its unlawful export — recall the traumatic famine of 1932-33 when Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, and Ukrainian peasants had their grain expropriated. Four million people died, in the hunger known as the Holodomor.

Oh, so now the Holodomor is a thing, even though when you ask Commies about it they just say it wasn't the Soviet's fault?

HR. Because if you call humans resources then you'll start treating them as such.

Islamists also believe women's place is in the kitchen, so you can't be against both women and Islam.

You do know Islam is more than just that, right?

because all anti-semitic ideologies are advocating a central government that controls everything.

You do know there are ideologies advocating for a central government that are not anti-semitic, right?

But if governments divert tons of money to sports teams and stadiums, then they might have to do something useful with the money. And then they have less shiny roofs

In the subreddit's defense, there's a lot more people saying "lots of drugs" than "art installation".

That said, just further signs that Seattle is gone, if any more were needed.

Jacobs added Friday that in a perfect world, he, too, would have been spared the wrath of the political right, but the recent racist massacre in Buffalo demonstrated a harsh reality about the Second Amendment. “If all gun owners respected gun safety as the constituents in my district, I would not be talking about new gun laws. But unfortunately, that is not the case,” he said. “A very small percentage of people [who] are extremely irresponsible, emotionally unstable, or fully insane.”

So, you're admitting you are either a liar or an idiot then, Mr. Jacobs. If you truly believe only a very small percentage of people are the problem, why are you slamming down laws that would impact everyone?

The list, prepared by the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action includes 506 individuals, organizations, media outlets and corporations that “have lent monetary, grassroots or some other type of direct support to anti-gun organizations.”

Well, that should be very easy to verify whether or not it is accurate. Given that the article does not try to claim the list is not accurate, I have to assume it is. And thus, if the list is full of people of a particular religious background, I have to conclude that a number of people of that background are heavily anti-gun.

Over-representation of Jews on the NRA enemy list should not come as a great surprise, as Jewish activists have always been on the forefront of the battle for gun control. Had the list included politicians, it is likely that top Jewish elected officials, such as New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Senators Dianne Feinstein and Chuck Schumer would also make the list.

So, why was this article written in the first place, if you flat-out say that Jewish activists are heavily anti-gun?

Even if focusing on how Leia mirrors her Mom, like how Luke mirrors his Dad, was a good thing, there's one major problem. Padme has nothing to mirror, as she is not really a character. She was in the prequel trilogy for the purpose of eye candy, and because Anakin needed someone to have kids with. We're told she was somehow elected queen as a teenager, but we never see her govern. We're told she became a senator but all she does as senator is make Jar Jar senator so she can run off (err, hide from assassins) with Anakin. And then in Episode 3, all she does is make Anakin worry about her dying in childbirth.

There's nothing there to compare her to, unless they're saying Leia should just be a figurehead and then get knocked up.

This. And it's simple to see with the whole abortion decision.

Woman is pregnant for 9 months. Gets to choose to tell the man, not tell the man, keep the baby, not keep the baby, etc. And if she unilaterally decides to keep the baby, dude is on the hook for ~2 decades of child support payments.

If you even suggest that the guy should have the ability to do a financial abortion, though - waive all parental rights and contact with the woman and kid in exchange for not being locked into child support payments - you'll have a bunch of harpies screaming in your face faster than if you said "free cake!"

The reason some people are upset is obvious: They quite reasonably expect Obi-Wan Kenobi to be the main character and primary focus of a series named Obi-Wan Kenobi.

You mean you're not looking forward to seeing Reva's story unfold in a series which is titularly about a completely different character who has been around for half a century? You bigot!

But Academia is where a lot of the lunacy came from, and still is.

I got the two initial vaxx shots in Spring 21, but didn't get the booster. So, the community college I work at is (and has been for the entire year) insisting I need to get tested for the coof every single week. Yes, even now. Is there any rational reason? No. But Coof Bad! so unboosted plague rats need to keep getting tested apparently.
