Honestly, it would be hilarious if people walking down the street just started grabbing some of those items and walking off. Of course, the problem is that would probably provoke a much more violent response than the store employees are allowed to do or the cops are willing to do.

This is the result of a bachelor tax

If you want to dissuade people from getting divorced:

  1. No alimony unless physical abuse or infidelity can be proven, and even then it should only last a few years
  2. Unless documented child abuse has happened, custody of children is 50/50 (unless one of the parents chooses to waive that) and 0 child support payments are made.

Just further evidence the whole "Jan 6th Committee" is glowing like a nuclear blast. Not that anyone sane needed more evidence, and the TDS crowd just won't care

Ah, FIFA. The gacha game where you buy middle aged millionaires instead of anime waifus.

Surely such upstanding gentlemen were not that bad. I mean, it's not like they would just publish outright falsehoods, including trying to did things like foment a war just to sell more papers. And they certainly wouldn't invent false claims about an accident on a battleship being a military attack when their initial propaganda campaigns failed to produce the war they wanted! Only despicably evil men would even consider doing such things.

Does he actually get to do that, or is this one of those things where he gets to do it until somebody asks if he can, at which point there's a court case, and the Biden administration gets put back in it's box?

Close. He does it. It sits in courts for a couple weeks. Then a conservative justice strikes it down. Then he appeals, and gets a stay on the conservative court's ruling so it stays in effect until the appeal. It gets approved on the appeal, so gets appealed again to the supreme court. Which means we wait until next summer until the supreme court decides on it, but by that point the EO will have been in effect for a year so it doesn't matter what the supreme court says everyone will be used to the rules so they'll just kind of stay.

Now it is NOTHING but Sally Hemmings, slavery, Jefferson man bad, Hemmings, Hemmings, and slaves.

Interesting thing I learned recently - a 2011 review by a bunch of historians came to this conclusion:

However, it is our unanimous view that the allegation [that Jefferson fathered Hemming's kids] is by no means proven; and we find it regrettable that the public confusion about the 1998 DNA testing and other evidence has misled many people into believing that the issue is closed. With the exception of one member, whose views are set forth both below and in the more detailed appended dissent, our individual conclusions range from serious skepticism about the charge to a conviction that it is almost certainly untrue.

Of course, finding any mention of that anywhere is virtually impossible these days.

Dems have been doing a lot to boost Trump-esque Republican candidates in the primaries this year.

Black Americans want everyone to give them free stuff simply for existing.

Yep, this was my first thought as well - will refusing to fill Ivermectin prescriptions also break federal law?

"We wanted to find a way to put diversity in the show, but we didn't want to do it in a way that felt like it was an afterthought or, worse, tokenism."

So, you want to add your token black people to meet a Woke Quota, but don't want to get accused of trying to meet a Woke Quota? Sounds like you failed

And what little was done turned Liberia into a total wreck as well (seriously, their history is an utter disaster). Turns out shipping a bunch of people from one place and cultural group into another place with pre-existing different cultural groups leads to utter chaos. Honestly, the fact that it has taken this long for the US to start spiraling into oblivion s kind of surprising

And yet, nowhere in that essay at all does she actually say what her problem with the coach is, other than "it offends me!"

It's not positive and negative liberty, it's positive and negative rights.

Negative rights are things that you inherently have due to being human that people (especially the government) shouldn't take from you - things like freedom of speech, ability to defend yourself, right to control your property, etc. (basically, the bill of rights type stuff)

Positive rights are when people get greedy and say they have a right to take stuff from someone and give it to themselves. Such as "Other people should pay for my education!" "Other people should pay for my health care!" "Other people should pay for my internet access!" etc. (basically, the DNC platform)

Good on the restaurant (which is already getting review bombed online), but it is just ridiculous that there are no consequences for angry mobs stalking Kavanaugh. And the "news" sources posting headlines like "Kavanaugh learns there is no constitutional right to have dessert" are even more ridiculous.

It's almost as if the Democratic Party deliberately used the Trump impeachment attempts to cover for this treasonous relationship between the Bidens and the Chinese.

Just say the Bidens and every single major country. Would be more accurate

but you don't HAVE to use the newest, leading edge brands. Cheaper options are available, and have been for decades.

That applies for so many things in people's lives. "What do you mean, I can't afford a brand new X? My current X is a whole year old, it might as well be garbage!"

Ah, people in the MSM are finally stepping away from the Roe decision, and talking about the huge win that was WV vs the EPA? Time to start salt collecting, especially if people (as I hope they will) use that decision as grounds to start suing the **** out of all the alphabet soup agencies, and putting those bureaucrats on the unemployment lines where they belong.

Any one have a longer clip? It's probably a waste of time, sure, but I am curious what one word he was trying to say which he thought would define America. (Unless it was "RacistWhiteSupremicistTransPhobicChristianTheocracy which I think a lot of the left would say defines America)

I would be interested to see what angle they're taking here, given that Alba was being physically assaulted by Simon at the time...

It's in NYC. New York state has the idiocy called "duty to retreat" in it which basically means if you have any possible chance to run away from the person attacking you then you are obligated to take that rather than trying to defend yourself. I'm willing to be that argument in court is going to be that since Alba was able to push past Simon to get the knife (as seen in the video) then he should have kept moving in that direction and run away instead.
