Meh, I don't think it was a big deal, generally speaking. Maybe if he was the one breaking windows but it just said poking officers and yelling at them. So what? Even if it was a riot, it was still a political protest.
Even if there was vandalism it's not like he tried set the building on fire like they did in Portland. And just my opinion but I will always be for more serious charges when it comes to private property. I'm not worried about government buildings too much.
It is easy to switch off empathy for someone we don't like, if we think they are an asshole and the situation could never happen to us because we're smarter than them and not an asshole like them. But this is a deep injustice that shouldn't happen to anyone.
