Did they literally arrest and sentence this dude in a matter of days?

Edit: Nevermind. Saw he took a plea deal. Still, that's insane, 32 months with a deal?

Dunk and Egg are pretty decent. Mostly because each one is independent from each other. Each book is a like a snapshot of a specific point their adventures.

Didn't happen how she said it did and is pure entitlement. Also, if you're that much of a celebrity you just call your manager/pr guy and they get you in anyplace last minute. This was all a stunt on her part.

The problem is once you get universal Healthcare or anything close to it you get people that abuse it and ruin it for everyone else.

Anytime I went to the doctor and he was teaching a med student it was always "are you OK with a student being here?" and then "would you be OK with things being done twice?" Like, I'm going to take your blood pressure, but I want the med student to also take it to get experience. Never "hey, here's a dude, I'm going to dick off to another room now."

Windows 11 is such garbage. I have a PC from right before it was released that windows 10 keeps freaking out that I'm not eligible for an upgrade... just because I have an option checked "wrong" in windows 10.

I'm not updating until I'm forced.

They probably could have fought that in court but it's easier to just drop it.

Yes. People tie forgiveness into that whole "turn the other cheek" thing that is like "OH. Suffering is good and just accept it to be the better person." Which actually completely goes against the context of the time what was implied by turning the other cheek, which was defiance.

Is this the longest we have gone without seeing the president?

A bunch of huge donors were holding their donations to wait and see what was going to happen. It was money that was already earmarked to go to a campaign, they just didn't know whose.

There is also the issue that some states require the primary winner's name be on the ballot. So just imagine the pure chaos of that?

Trump already said he's hiring more private security because the secret service cut the number of people on his detail.

Imagine being told that the language you learn in school from the age of 5 is too hard to comprehend.

I think it is an instant gratification thing. People got this idea that you're supposed to have 24/7 access and 100% acceptance to people when you're in need. So the slightest "hey, I can't talk right now because of X" has them freaking out that they're not real friends or there from them.

Between his outbursts while lucid and his wife who desperately wants to cling to power no matter what there is not going to be any chance of him stepping aside.

Honestly, at this point it is probably too late to switch. Some states have it set that the person that wins the primary must appear on the ballot. Can you imagine how much of a cluster fuck it would be in those states where 2 different people appear under the democratic line? You're going to lose at least 10% of the vote of people screwing up the ballot.

Already happening. They're trying to claim she is the most popular Democrat that could run for president (outside of Michelle obama) and that she's only 1 point away from Trump in the polls so completely within the margin and error and might actually be more popular because of said margin.

The hero is supposed to be an everyman which pretty much translates to boring most of the time.

I'm surprised any of them had it at all to begin with. Because in some states a real estate agent basically can't tell you anything about the neighborhood because it might constitute redlining, steering or some other form of discrimination.

Prospective buyer wants to know about the crime rate? Nope, tell them to look for outside resources. Demographics? Direct them to the census. School system? Nope. Places of worship nearby? Nope, can't tell you.

Didn't they try to say there were going to be no cameo characters from other series?
