There is still good Who to be had, even right here and now. It's just not in the form of the main show.

I similarly dipped out of the main show when Chibnall became showrunner but there's still enough out there for me in the form of audio dramas and classic show.

Oh rest assured I've been here a long, long time. I just rarely see something which so perfectly epitomises what we're up against.

I must admit I had to look up the word Jacobin. Unsurprisingly the wikipedia preview paragraph on the search for it isn't the start of the article, it isn't a description, it's this little quote buried deep within the article itself.

The Jacobin philosophy of a complete dismantling of an old system, with completely radical and new structures, is historically seen as one of the most revolutionary and important movements throughout modern history.

I'm not as pessimistic, but Trump destroyed his future political career when he left office without a fight.

His base don't respect him for that.

The media no longer see themselves as descriptive, but prescriptive.

Their role isn't to report what has happened; their role is to promote a certain agenda so of course they're going to lead the witness, so to speak.

Unsurprising.

What are the bets that a juror was effectively threatening the rest into compliance and the cowards went with it?

Not that the jury needs to do that since congress was already doing it.

You were made by a political group wanting somewhere to discuss their ideas. Without them, or rather us, this site wouldn't be what it is today.

Own it.

Can't say I'm an expert on Saidit but from where I'm sitting that post doesn't show up in the "new" feed of whatever they call a subreddit over there.

Which is interesting for people who are attesting what they're doing isn't censorship.

I found a copy on the high seas and gave up after an hour. You can't get a single conversation out without someone hammering about corporations and pushing the message into your face.

And the comedy is way more slapstick than in New Vegas.

If this were a surprise I might disagree. But it's a pretty well-known fact that these surgeries don't have the desired effects and are more mutilation than anything else. But of course mentioning that fact is "transphobic" so it's hard to sympathise when reality doesn't match their delusions.

I use Malwarebytes to scan things actively, and a lesser known AV called "not being an idiot" for everything else.

As expected, this is a dude who has preached socialism and said that in his ideal society, age of consent laws shouldn't exist.

And as expected, the left don't care about that but once he says the dreaded nigger word he's out.

You might be being diplomatic, but they're not. Diplomacy doesn't defeat emotional screetching all that often.

Blade and Sorcery is still a damn fine game. Closest you can get to actually slicing people up with a lightsaber.

Still need data on how many people this is out of, or we're just as guilty of poor statistics than the Covid hystericals.

For instance some countries are pushing for the ballpark of a million vaccinations per day (the US already hit that back in December, for instance) and 40.8k reactions out of 7 million is well below the threshold where you should worry. 55 deaths isn't even a rounding error.

I doubt any website which doesn't need additional income will consider something which flies in the face of their own premise so readily.

I wonder what twitter's cut of these will be.

Zimbabwe would like a word...

The first generation understand that they can profit from peddling hate but ultimately need us.

The second generation were raised on the first generation's lies and don't know any better.
