If he didn't want this, then he shouldn't have supported what opened the path for them.

I'm not optimistic anything will come of this except for a bill that either fails to get through the house or is vetoed by Biden.

They had 4 years to do something when Trump was in and did nothing. Sounds like campaign material to drum up donations for 2022.

A lot of people work in a reactive way. They literally cannot foresee issues. And even when someone points it out they just brush it off. As sad as that is, the silver lining is that now that this has been recognized as an ongoing issue, the reactive-minded people will come out of the woodworks. So there really might be a better chance of solving it in the future than in the past 4 years.

This title reads like a strongly worded letter. All the while the recipients are not only ignoring the letter but going full steam ahead to make any attempts to derail them ineffective.

May as well be standing outside Twitter HQ chanting while the execs are all inside behind sound proof windows.

Yeah, they'd better shape up or they might get called in to congressional hearings where they'll be allowed to lie and won't be held accountable for anything.

I'll bet these CEOs are all quaking in their boots.

And what the fuck is he going to do about it? He had four years, with two of those including the house, and did jack shit. Now he keeps giving "warnings" but right now he has no power to back them up, and I sincerely doubt he has any motivation to back them up.

I'm gonna be laughing pretty hard at you when he writes a strongly worded letter and posts it on twitter.

Damn, a strongly worded letter? Those businesses will never recover from such a blow!

Mitch, stop fucking "warning us" AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. You can kick up a lot of shit to stop them. The Democrats do not have a supermajority. YOU CAN STOP THEM. If they remove the filibuster to stop you that will make them look REALLY bad and get you a near-guaranteed victory in the Senate.

DO SOMETHING YOU OLD FUCK.

They had 4 years to do something about it and they did nothing.

Good luck winning another election now.

Whether you like him or not, and I was a bit disappointed with his behavior during the second impeachment, one thing is sure, and that he is not to be messed with.

At least for once the government being slow and unwieldy would be a feature, not a bug for us. Obstructionism is 100% supported as long as they do it through legal means. Make it a headache for the Dems to do ANYTHING.

On the contrary, this is Mitch reasserting his role as the other side of the progressive dialectic. You can't have a dialectic when everyone is obviously on the same team.

He had four years to do something, and two He had the house for two of those years too. Thus far He's proven himself to be completely chickenshit, and is absolutely someone to be "messed with". What's he gonna do, send a sternly worded letter?

Empty threats, the government knows it's days are numbered because they sucked off big corps and banks. Go after them and the banks will decline to do business with the government unless they nationalize and then they'll just move to a more compliant and friendly country.

You're objections are as meaningless as your inaction

I am done with the "serious consequences" type crap, is similar when they brought Jack "Rasputin" Dorsey to give explanations.

I've yet to see any consequences to anything on the left, they can get away with massive lies, voter fraud, crime, corruption, racism, anti-semitism, killing old people.

Plus, the current government is woke so there is no parallel government, the media, corporations, education are just tentacles of the current government.
