Look at that crazy-eyed bitch.

I'm trying to understand why they pushed out Chapek. Initially I thought it was because of his feud with Florida and the shit performance of all their new woke productions. But when Iger came back, he doubled down on Disney continuing this path. Now it seems more like it was just personality conflicts with other executives.

I like to think of the "diversity" that Dems want as the same as the It's a Small World Ride at Disneyland. Lots of colorful costumes and the appearance of variation, but they're all singing the exact same song.

You got a way to bypass the age restriction? I'm not creating a YouTube account.

Phoebe Waller Bridge's presence is all we need to know to predict that this will be a disaster. She played the "droids rights" robot in Solo and wrote the last shitty Bond movie (where we got to see a female 007, Bond become a daddy, and Bond die). Not a good pedigree.

Crystal Skull was shitty, but it had a ending to Indy's story- he was reunited with Marion and had Shia le Douche as a crappy way to carry on his legacy. Just let this franchise die with what dignity it has left.

Literally the only bad thing about the prequels is some of the dialogue.

Midi-chlorians, Jar-Jar Binks, the Jedi just accepting an entire army they had never heard of because some randos said they ordered it...

Lucas collaborated with a lot of people on the original trilogy. For example, he showed a rough cut of Star Wars to Spielburg and his friends which resulted in significant cuts and re-ordering of scenes. Empire Strikes Back, widely regarded as the best of the series, was neither written nor directed by Lucas

Lucas let his reputation get to his head on the prequels and both wrote and directed them himself. They showcase his weakness as both a writer and director. There's nothing wrong the story concept of a forbidden love affair corrupting a hero, but the execution is a mess.

At the end of the day, younger people are more generous towards the prequels because that was the Star Wars of their youth and they've never known Star Wars without those films existing. For those that are older, they're definitely a case of the whole being less than the sum of its parts.

You can like what you please, and I'm sure you've seen all the movies, but if you weren't alive when the original trilogy was actually new in theaters you don't understand waiting 15 years for the promised next chapter and then getting the prequels.

The dialogue is stilted and awful, the CGI is inferior to the models used in the originals, and there's an overall empty feeling.

Imagine being so young that you didn't grow up with the original trilogy and don't know any better.

The prequels are green screen CGI trash and the sequels are even worse.

FUCK NO.

What we should have learned from the Reagan amnesty is that if you dangle the promise of legalization in front of them, you have no credible deterrent to illegal immigrants.

Almost guaranteed. After the Star Wars prequels and the Crystal Skull, I'm not falling for any more sequels to beloved movies.

They did that a while back-at least four or five years ago. They also re-ordered the series chronologically, which if you saw it when it originally aired doesn't make sense.

A number of episodes had both a young and younger Indy story. The younger Indy story would have characters and events that were important to the young Indy story. By breaking them apart by many hours, the viewer will likely miss the connection now.

They're drawing an even finer point than that. It's more like:

"If you say something on the internet and the Democratic party tells the platform to remove it, it's just one private entity interacting with a private company and they can do what they want"

In the most crude analysis they're not wrong, but it's far more complicated than that. Is Twitter agreeing to the Democratic party's request of their own accord, or is it because the Democratic party represents roughly half of the currently sitting legislators? As u/Gizortnok said, there is a chilling effect on free speech.

Sounds like a fun weekend in Vegas. What happens in Final Fantasy stays in Final Fantasy.

They weren't even the bad guys! They were just mean teenager characters. The real villains were literal murderers- and they were all white.

It's literally manufactured outrage based on the thinnest of pretexts.

casting of Nigerian actor Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay) as a mean girl at Nevermore Academy and Iman Marson (Lucas Wilson) as a bully and the son of a corrupt mayor.

I saw this show. The black girl was queen bee at the school until Wednesday arrived, stood up to her immoral mother, and helped Wednesday save the school. They parted as non-enemies. She was a rival to develop dramatic tension, not a villain.

The mayor was "corrupt" in the same way that most of the adults had skeletons in their closet for things they did in the past, usually because of a "for the greater good" type decision. His son was a shitty bully, but was also shown to develop remorse.

So, basically they were real characters with multiple dimensions. How dare he.

I'm serious when I say that the left are the biggest racists. They apparently think all black people are retarded monkeys who have to be coddled like children or pets.

The term itself is stupid. They should just say "fellow citizens".

"Peer" by definition means equal in status. We may not have a caste system, but we definitely have different classes based on geography, wealth, and education among other things. A true jury of your peers would only include people from your class.

23
TriangleGang 23 points ago +23 / -0

as a jury of their peers found this week, their deeds were a crime against the United States.

Oh, well if 12 randos think it's true, it must be so. Every one of those people that the Innocence Project (a liberal favorite) has gotten out of prison were there because originally "a jury of their peers" found them guilty.

I love how when it's a decision they agree with the left is quick to point out things like "he was convicted", "the report concluded" or "the Supreme Court decided" as if that means the issue is closed forever. But when it's something they don't agree with, it's "wrongfully convicted" or "the court is illegitimate".

Blatant hypocrisy reflects a severe lack of introspection and self-reflection.

criminal posts on the Internet

Any country that criminalizes speech it doesn't like loses the right to call itself a democracy.

I didn't see season 2, but wasn't her whole persona that she was beautiful and powerful, but sacrificed her ability to have children and regretted it?

If they dropped that, what was her character's point/motivation?

“If you look at the original Willow, by no fault of anyone, it’s not very diverse,”

He says about an 80's movie with a dwarf as the protagonist. I honestly can't think of another until Peter Dinklage in Game of Thrones, and that was an ensemble cast. Willow put the dwarf front and center as the main hero.

"Diverse" is just code for women, brown people, and fags. Anyone with half a brain sees this; they're not fooling anyone.

I'm not going to lie, that shit is stupid as hell, but when I was in college I was looking for the easiest path to a degree. I'd sign up for this class.
