New job this year. 50% raise.

Had a total of 4 job offers and left 2 full time jobs over the course of this year.

Man, it feels so powerful to turn down a job offer for the specific reason because it wouldn't be fulfilling work even though the pay is better. Never had that happen before.

He's really the generation of "Portlandia". He actually made a Canadian variant called "Torontopia". Then Long realized that nobody watches tv and went to YouTube.

Most people just let women fuck around. Few people are nice enough to let them find out.

I voted Johnson in 2016. Trump proved me wrong in the last 4 years so I'm voting for him this year.

When Bill Nye did the gender-bender episode of his show is when I realized this. He made the joke "Some times I feel like I have extra sex chromosomes! ha ha ha!"

Those conditions aren't a joke. They're serious health conditions the people of which who suffer them want a solution.

Technically, they labeled it satire.

Still, this BB article is one that features a clear impossibility.

I, for one, would like the nuclear option repealed. However, as long as Cocaine Mitch is Majority Leader, I do not blame him for taking full advantage of it's repeal.

Neuter the courts. The root cause of the issue is that SCOUTS is too powerful by passing laws rather than interpreting them. I recommend the following:

  1. Term-Limits. (16 or 20yrs)

  2. Force retire Thomas & Breyer and close their seats. (Take the court membership down to 7. This asserts the Senate and the SCOTUS mandate to the laws.)

  3. Amend the constitution to say that State laws overwrite Federal rulings and Federal regulations. (If a State bothered to pass a law on say abortion and the Federal government didn't, then the courts default to State law rather than Starry Decisis or Chevron Deference.)

  4. Undo the nuclear option from 2013. (Bring it back to a 2/3rd majority to moderate the SCOTUS and prevent to the vitriol we have seen from every vacancy since then.)

  5. Take a pocket constitution and bitch-slap John Roberts.

Just look for this from Diane Feinstein's office, right at the end of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings.

President's Job: Nominate SCOTUS candidate. Senate's Job: Advise & Consent. If the Senate doesn't consent, then they don't appoint.

2016 Obama: Did his job. Nominated Garland.

2016 Senate: Did their job. Did not consent to Garland.

...

2018 Trump: Did his job. Nominated Kavanaugh.

2018 Senate: Did their job. Consented to Kavanaugh.

...

2020 Trump: Will do his job.

2020 Senate: Will do their job.

I see no inconsistencies here. Perhaps politician's excuses & blaming, but they are doing their job correctly.

A father's role is to cultivate an independent individual out of his children. Making and enforcing all the children's decisions for them won't cultivate that kind of agency. Those children won't go on to be free if they don't learn self-ownership. It's not an either-or on the dictator vs democracy when it comes to a family or society.

Neither pure-democracy nor dictatorships cultivate individual liberty, so I oppose them both.
