I, for one, would like the nuclear option repealed. However, as long as Cocaine Mitch is Majority Leader, I do not blame him for taking full advantage of it's repeal.
He told them it would bite them in the ass and he had no qualms chomping down.
I'd take it further by nuking congress itself.
The thing about a nuclear option is it must result in maximum retaliation by the other side for mutually assured destruction. If anything less is done then it only encourages them to do it again. Same thing with the whole packing the court. If they pack the court we gotta pack it too. They add 5 new justices? We add 50.
