Imagine landing on the Moon and not being proud because you're one of the first people to do so (in the long term) but because you did so with the correct genitals/skin color. The fact the average person loves this kind of shit is blackpilling.

Classic conservatism: Do nothing except (temporarily) slightly slow the decline of society. The pendulum will only ever move in one direction from now on.

Remember when the Internet was an open field of limitless possibilities ad was going to define the future? And now it's been properly corralled and trained to be subservient to all the vestiges of the past (online media answers to legacy fact checkers, games and email answer to phone numbers).

It's all prep for Digital ID and the end of anonymity.

Except now the corporations are merging with the government, meaning any competitors will be smothered with IRS bullshit and over regulation.

Racial identity politics is the only thing that matters to them. That's why they need to be "the first x in y." It's the only trait they have, the rest is filler and programming.

Reminds me of the Grade A satire from /r/BewitchtheTaliban which featured such gems as a witch attempting to hex Allah, a witch getting ran over by Toyata trucks in the astral plane, a witch getting dommed metaphysically by Allah, and a witch getting his mom dommed metaphysically by Allah.

A trip down memory lane.

Last Thursday, a group of 20 mothers in Boston met up outside a local high school. Their goal wasn’t to socialize, drink wine, or even share COVID-related tips. They were there for one reason and one reason only: to stand in a circle—socially distanced, of course—and scream.

Women when they don't get attention for .025 seconds

When mothers feel there is no more appealing way to spend an evening than to yell into the frigid January darkness, something is very, very wrong. Parents in the United States

Agency and personal responsibility is dead. People can choose to scream into the sky in the middle of the night and somehow it's society's fault.

How do we keep our kids home from school when we’re expected to be back at work?

Have a stay at home parent, rearrange you and your spouse's work schedules to have someone always at home, live a simpler and cheaper life so the family isn't chained to a job.

My kids became fully vaccinated in late December, the same week that Omicron began spreading rapidly throughout the U.S. They were so excited to weave some normalcy back into their lives—to go to restaurants, to have sleepovers with friends, to do all the things my husband and I had previously told them were not worth the risk of infection. In fact, we had promised them we would do these things as soon as they were vaccinated. Then, because of Omicron, and the fear that we might inadvertently sicken the grandparents we were supposed to visit over the holidays, we had to go back on our word. They were heartbroken.

A vaccine so effective it has to be mandatory ladies and gentlemen!

but it is also disorienting and disheartening to have reached this milestone only to discover that life is still very much the same. We’re still wearing masks. Vaccinated people are still getting sick.

The richest people in the world got hundreds of billions of dollars richer due to the lockdowns. This is never going to end while it's still profitable. The conspiracy theorists were telling you this 5 months in.

Millions of children still aren’t eligible for a vaccine, and we don’t know yet when they will be

The $cience^TM can't explain why a shot for a respiratory virus causes severe periods in women and didn't know effectiveness would drop so quickly, but it knows for certain there will be no long term effects on kids under 5. Sort of like how investigators determined the Notre Dame fire wasn't arson before the flames were even extinguished

The early days of the pandemic were devastating, but at least, back then, “there was a consistent story... Now, he said, the messages we are getting seem to contradict one another.

Like how masks don't work, wash your grocery boxes, and 2 Weeks to Flatten the Curve?

We hope that when this wave ends, we’ll have a brief respite to compose ourselves before the next one comes,

At least they're starting to catch onto the plot, right?

Anyone who knows even the basics of the immune system would know that the only way this is possible is for the tests to be wrong or for something to be wiping the immune system. Maybe this is why public schooling let science slip away in favor of standardized tests.

The shutdowns were the largest redistribution of wealth from the lower to the upper classes. It's far too profitable to let go.

This video's vision has been realized

Also, if they want a WW2 style game but don't want to reference anything related to the ever growing no-no list, why not make their own dieselpunk world? You could have the WW2 aesthetics and the wacky skins and the absurd guns with none of the baggage for only a small amount of worldbuilding.

People don't have a problem with gritty realistic games, COD: World at War had a gritty, brutal, and haunting atmosphere. People don't have a problem with wacky, over-the-top games, all the futuristic COD games did fairly well. It's the mixing of the two that's awful, like peanut butter and tuna.

If only Reznov or Roebuck could see us now...

There's the book The Last Church along with lore around the Emperor's rise to power.

During the Unification Wars, the God-Emperor (although he wasn't called that at the time) exterminated all religions because "they held back humanity" since he must have spent too much time on the atheism subreddit while he lived in hiding. This is funny because religion had lasted all the way through the Golden Age of Technology that saw humanity conquer most of the galaxy and fulfill everything the Imperium supposedly stood for.

Then in an even funnier twist of fate, the God-Emperor gets his shit pushed in by the demonic forces of Chaos after the corruption of his favorite son and many of his forces. If only he was smart enough to realize the religions he exterminated had been honing the art of resisting everything Chaos stands for (Pride, Lust, Wrath, Disease, Hatred). His "atheist rationalism" was conquered by the supernatural, his pride condemned him to the Golden Throne to be worshipped as a god himself, and humanity was doomed to millennia of slow and painful decline.

It was the classic neckbeard hubris of declaring oneself to be an enlightened genius because of atheism while actually being some dork on a web forum.

It's the 20s. Hyperinflation and an economic crash are coming. Culture is filled with vapid consumerism and degeneracy. The tail end of a pandemic is met with fuel shortages and an incompetent government. Hatred of Jews is on the rise with a certain race being blamed for everyone's problems. Meanwhile, socialist street violence goes unchecked as their leaders take more power.

Buckle up everyone...

Also cops: engage in opportunistic violence at the first chance against the side that supports them since they don't have establishment backing

I'm glad the Back the Blue simpery is frying up at least.

Reminder to train yourself in the art of delayed gratification and self mortification so you can't be swayed if you ever get payed the big bucks to sell out.

People practice holding their ground if someone threatens a negative, not if they offer you everything you ever wanted.
