When Vance loses in 2028 due to their handling of this, all of that other good stuff is getting reversed. This is going to cost him much more dearly than you think.

Where are you getting the notion that moving on from Epstein is the mainstream MAGA opinion? If anything I see the exact opposite.

From the ubiquity of comments everywhere MAGA centric that are about exactly that. And from the mass of MAGA "influencers" like Charlie Kuck explicitly dropping the subject. And from congress going to recess early specifically to avoid a vote on it with no public outcry...

And polls continue to say <10% of Republicans don't want the files released.

Polls are also saying he supposedly has a record high approval rating with Republicans. If you need proof that polls are bullshit, this topic proves it.

I hope it wont be another Trump situation where Kamiya's cult following just turns a blind eye to all the lies and broken promises. Where people ignore that they are following a con man.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I thought there was no way that MAGA would give in to the not so subtle Orwellian "we're still talking about Epstein?" gaslighting, but it sure looks like the sheep are all eating it right up.

"We expect platforms to comply with their legal obligations," the regulator said.

They are complying. X is based in the US and is protected by the first amendment of the constitution, which is the highest authority governing them. Any "legal" complaints by foreign authorities can be directed to the law firm of EatShit and GoFuckYourself.

The WSJ isn't the side telling me to ignore my lying eyes and ears on this one. Trump could easily win me over to his side, but he refuses to.

Their "trust me bro" included the effort of at least faking a letter. Trump's is that he knows it's a scam but he isn't going to show us a damn thing.

You seem to think I see the WSJ as the bastions of journalism. I don't. They are absolutely terrible. That doesn’t change the fact that they have handled the Epstein story better than Trump has. This isn't saying much at all, because there isn't a single thing Trump could have done to handle this worse. He is doing everything in his power to hand them the win.

I'm not giving them credibility just because Trump has none.

The reason they win the credibility battle is because they at least cited something to back up their claim. Regardless of what that something is, it is more credible than "Trust me bro. This shit's fake and I can prove it, but I'm too busy doing other stuff. Besides, you're a loser and I don't want your support if you even care about this."

but the WSJ has shit the bed a lot more frequently and consistently.

Not on this particular topic.

Once again, right wingers accuse their enemies of being hypocrites and call it a day, while left wingers destroy their enemies with the effective use of power and never let up.

Hmmm. I wonder who is going to win.

On the Epstein issue, Trump's credibility is very low for me, so if it's him vs. the WSJ, I'm going with the WSJ.

Those are my feelings as well. He has no leg to stand on with this. At this point, he can release everything or fuck off, because his word doesn't mean shit.

Ignoring the circuses meant to distract us from the real problem is the opposite of burying our heads in the sand. This whole Russiagate story is just kayfabe. If you think a single person will be held accountable for it, you are dreaming.

I'm with them. Until Obama is facing actual prison time, I don't care. The entire story is just a smokescreen to distract from Epstein. Nothing is going to come of it, so caring about it is a complete waste of time.

"dropped the guy like a bad habit."

Yet is willing to sacrifice his administration and his legacy to protect him. It's pretty strange for a person to jump in front of a metaphorical bullet to protect someone they claim to hate, who supposedly isn't even alive. Trump couldn't have made this look shadier if he tried.

Only Trump's enemies want the swamp drained. We have always been at war with Eurasia.

telling reporters at a news conference that he was doing so in order to serve the American people by shutting down Democratic efforts to demand more votes on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files.

The gaslighting on this case is unreal. If the right wing actually buys this shit, we might as well give up on ever saving this country. Serving the American people. Uh huh. Sure you are.

Textbook crying out in pain as they strike you. The "madness" in the US is the inevitable blowback to subversive scum metastisizing throughout the halls of power. Predictably, subversive scum will attempt to sell the preemptive subversion of society as a defense against the backlash to that very subversion.

And once they have their foot in the door, the solution to any "unintended" consequence of this subversion will obviously be to subvert society even harder. We have seen this pattern repeat 109 times or so in human history.

Is this our future?

No. Once we are outnumbered by that much everywhere in the US, they will actively kill off the rest of us. For our future, just take a look at Haiti.

I am fine with taking the blame. Anything that advances the cause of ethnic nationalism against rule16ish globalism is something to be proud of.

Then we can cancel them for being racist since black people don't know how to get IDs.

Those polling numbers aren't the win he thinks they are. They just mean that the Republican party is beyond saving. Rather than him turning them into MAGA, they turned him into the swamp.

work for free

Last I heard, the WNBA loses ~50 million a year that the NBA has to cover. So technically, each player should get a bill for their share of the expense to pay back the men who are subsidizing them.

Because the regime never left power.

That doesn’t change the fact that it is the only service they provide to society. It just means they are shirking their duty.
