A lot of Japanese comments in this article are calling Kamiya untrustworthy because of he keeps flip flopping on his positions.
. Yet according to some of the Japanese comments in this article, Kamiya has a cult following who are complete fanatical supporters. Similar to Trump. Because Kamiya is a really good public speaker that can rail up the crowd.
And he said some extreme right wing things that no one else has said but everyone is thinking... (though he goes 180 degrees on it and flip flops and admitted he just says these things to get attention). . He got attacked by the media a lot for the "extreme right wing comments" so to his supporters they think "that must mean that he's legitimate and real". Similar to Trump.
And similar to Trump , Kamiya doesn't keep his promises. Like how Trump said he'd release the Epstein files but he still hasn't and is now attacking his own followers for wanting him to keep his campaign promise.
. Like how Trump said he wouldn't start any new wars but bombed Iran. Like how Trump said he'd lock Hillary up but didn't. And then later on said "he never said to lock her up " even though he did.
I hope it wont be another Trump situation where Kamiya's cult following just turns a blind eye to all the lies and broken promises. Where people ignore that they are following a con man.

As it stands i see one of his supporters trying to defend his back tracking saying "there's a difference between "privilege and preferential treatment" (apparently Kamiya said foreigners get preferential treatment while also saying they dont get special priviliges"?. ) As if there's much difference between the two. And then he says he's still better than LDP. ok so its pure cope at this point.

Eh, maybe I'm being optimistic but I'm willing to give this party a chance. By reading your past threads, I don't have much hope for Kamiya but there have to be at least one better than him in the future. Like LDP that was far-right in the past but it turned to its namesake by having couple of snakes such as Kishida and Ishiba, Sanseito could turn further right by having a bit more right-wing legislators especially as a new party formed only 5 years ago.
It's important to have multiple right-wing party so it breeds more right-wing politicians, sooner or later there's going to be one that aren't fond of tiny hats and the citizens get to have more choices in the future unlike anglo-western cuntries. My country Australia might have shit ton of political parties but most of them seem to be globohomo cucks that will sell out to kosher bribes and betray their constituents at moments notice. The only good thing i can say about him is that he got a lot of previously apolitical people involved in politics and moved them to the right. His party is even called "the political participation party" I only hope they stay on the right and are not swayed by him when he happens to switch his political positions like he changes clothes

Where are you getting the notion that moving on from Epstein is the mainstream MAGA opinion? If anything I see the exact opposite. And polls continue to say <10% of Republicans don't want the files released. If anything I'm pleasantly surprised how few people were swayed by Trump trying to sweep it under the rug.

What exactly registers as public outcry to you? Normies were never clued into the Epstein thing. So you weren't exactly going to see people in the streets over it. But most people who were harping on it before haven't just dropped it, and saying they have just because they haven't mentioned it every day is a bit much.

Polls can be a great tool if you know how to use them. If the way a question is asked or presented is skewed or the pollster is shit, the output will be shit. Often times there is a narrative that Japan is an excellent imitator and innovator but a poor inventor. Could it be possible that Japan imitates foreigners to the extent that they have even imitated 'Trumpism', right down to Trump and Trumpism's myriad flaws?
For the things that you have mentioned make it sound like Kamiya has even internalized Trump's flaws, or, alternatively, is perhaps drawn to Trump because they share enough in common, flaws included.

I think the Japan First party and the anti NHK party might be better than both of them. I don't know much about the conservative party of Japan, but i've "heard" that they are apparently openly pro israel and they are the "boomer" type of conservatism that is pro America, and pro israel makes me write them off . Anyone who is pro israel and pro America in Japan isn't going to fix anything in the long run.

At least Sanseito party(Kamiya's party) is apparently not as openly pro israel and Sanseito "says" they want to remove American bases from Japan, which are better policies than the Conservative party's policies. But of course Kamiya is a flip flopping liar so who the fuck knows.
