work for free

Last I heard, the WNBA loses ~50 million a year that the NBA has to cover. So technically, each player should get a bill for their share of the expense to pay back the men who are subsidizing them.

So do the penised members pay or get paid? We all know the WMBA is full of trannies.

I think the guys who still simp for Clark are hilarious. I wasn't going to watch, but I understood it last season. She's bowed down and done the white privilege bs multiple times and wants to be embraced by the people who hate her. Fuck her and fuck the rest of the ugly dykes

Yeah, the normie apologizing for being white schtick is getting tiresome. Not to mention it's futile because the monkeys keep hurling shit at her

I mean it's a woman, what did you expect? Women are incapable of having a spine that will withstand public pressure. She was always going to fold. I'm surprised she lasted as long as she did.

It's like that guy who got hired on and just finished training on a single machine and you see him going to management to ask for a raise because he's a machine operator now.

Worst PR of any sports, you finally got ONE, singular, fucking person who put butts in seats, you snub her, beats her to shit on the court and on social media because God forbid your first legit star wasn't the skin tone you were hoping for. Now she gets injured and already missing games in her second season in, oh, and you fucked over the few loyal fans by making them buy ticket packages as the only way to see the Fever when them come to town.

Five games, four of which the fan isn't planning on going just to see Clark, and she's not playing so you got tickets to five games you don't even want to attend. Pay us what you owe us? You own those fans you stupid bitches.

Absolute carney league.

The reason why the WNBA doesn't work is because the women looks awkward and ungainly. There isn't a single moment of athletic excellence or physical grace to find in a basketball game between women.

They all look like clumsy ersatz-men doing things that weren't meant for them.

It's simply hard to look at.

Kill off all the subsidies and give the players a straight percentage of the profit after covering all the costs. Pretty sure each of them would end up owing ~250K a year to cover the revenue shortfall.

TL;DR: Careful what you wish for.

I dunno if they really want to be paid a negative amount though.

Estimated NBA gross yearly revenue ~ $10B, median NBA player salary ~ $6.7M, or 0.067% of gross revenue.

Estimated WNBA gross yearly revenue ~ $243M, median WNBA player salary ~ $78k, or 0.0321% of gross revenue.

Under the gross revenue model, women are underpaid.

The median WNBA player salary should be ~ $163k.

HOWEVER, the WNBA operates at net loss of ~ $50M a year.

Applying the same 0.067% share as the NBA, WNBA players fair salary should be ~ -$33.5k.

QED.

That's not very nice. You should give them at about 10000 dollars per month.

Zimbabwe dollars.

I’ll do even better. 1 million Vietnamese Dong per month. They are all millionaires now!

I think a ton of the WNBA aren’t into dong though.

There's another factor to this that many people (understandably) don't know about: another league.
A new 3v3 league called Unrivaled just had a fairly successful debut this spring and it offers players much better pay.
Outkick story for more context: Archived, or not.

Co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, Unrivaled played its inaugural season in the spring of 2025. The league aims to give players an alternative option to going overseas during the offseason. It pays better and provides players more off-the-court resources than they get in the WNBA.
For its first season, Unrivaled secured $35 million from a laundry list of investors that included celebrity names like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Michael Phelps, Dawn Staley, Coco Gauff, Alex Morgan, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, along with several others.
Incredibly, the league nearly broke even — and it did so without superstar Caitlin Clark.
Unrivaled banked more than $27 million in revenue in its first year, according to a league source. The money was largely from a lucrative media deal with TNT, plus a roster of big-time corporate sponsors — like Ally Financial, Samsung Galaxy, Sephora and Miller Lite, just to name a few.
[...]
During its inaugural season, each of Unrivaled's 36 players earned a six-figure salary for the eight-week season, with an average salary of $222,222. That's higher than the WNBA's regular max contract of $214,466 for 2025.
And it looks like those numbers are only going to get larger. Earlier this year, the WNBA's 2025 No. 1 overall draft pick Paige Bueckers signed a three-year deal with Unrivaled. The 23-year-old will make $350,000 in her first season with the 3-on-3 league.

Nearly broke even

Man, I wish failing had such a positive wording to the rest of society. I nearly lost weight (I only gained 5 pounds!).

Charge them to cover the losses of the WNBA. Amateur league players / parents of children have to pay for their sports.

You cunts exist solely through charity.

You owe US, you retarded muff divers. You are a net loss for human productivity.
