I plan on moving to an ultra red state next year, but it really depends on where I can land a job. I might have to settle for Texas in the short term, but I like the places nobody from California is talking about.
For you, though, I just assumed the US is tough to immigrate to for a conservative European, especially with the commies in charge over here.
I do think the Unreal Engine actually has good programming (not that I have looked at the source code or am an expert on code efficiency), so that is one good thing about studios moving towards using it over in-house engines.
These companies shoving whales in the spotlight aren't doing them any favors. It is like the old American Idol tryouts where some terrible singer auditions, where they are there because: 1) Family and friends lied go them and said they were great, and 2) The show exploited their naivety to make money.
People she was close to told this whale she was beautiful, and then the companies get their ESG money and woke praise for parading out a morbidly obese person.
I don't think he cares, his comment on it was "oh no, it's terrible when companies try to make money." Realistically it won't effect him on this game because it will likely never hit $200,000 a year in sales.
I care, but I'm not making a game.
I don't think they ever talk to normal people. Their idea of a normal person is some rich small business owner who they know through a private school both their kids go to. Admittedly, that is a lot better than a politician for guaging public opinion, but still a far cry from the vast majority of people.
Is there a market for smaller studios to get the rights of some fantasy series and do lower budget but faithful adaptations? I understand the fans of those series would mostly like it, but even with something big like Wheel of Time how many real fans are there?
If you haven't played a single game on this list, you must not play many different games, because that picture is a giant dragnet of popular games over a large span of time across many different platforms.
Nothing wrong with that, it just is surprising that someone who has played Titanfall hasn't played anything there.
Maybe Musk is our Vandal.
