Thank you. I named one of my KCD2 homosexual single player files 'Beefy' to honour your gesture of goodwill. If, for some reason, this displeases you, I'm willing to rename the file after a KIA user of your choice. I promise it will be the gayest KCD2 campaign possible.
there is always that moment where they hedge their bets and have to toss in some mealy mouthed genuflecting towards the very thing they're ostensibly making an argument against.
This dissembling happens in most cases and it undermines arguments against leftism. Even the most rabid anti-leftists are guilty of this, as though they're still scared to be called names and their little disclaimer will protect them when the opposite is true. Those concession statements give authority and superiority to leftist positions that haven't earned them and that empowers the cunts you're arguing with. They won't make the same concessions for you or your positions, so don't choose to start an argument from a position of disadvantage.
I think what bugs me the most is that the kind of people we're talking about know this but they do it anyway. I think it's a form of cowardice and deference.
Other than a bug, could it be deliberate interruption of the calls to violence? Maybe Reddit is concerned about liability but wants to hedge their bets and/or doesn't want to piss off its user base. I've never heard of a bug on Reddit that results in subs being banned.
I doubt it had many viewers. More people will talk about it after the fact, thus ensuring that the Grammys garner sufficient social attention to remain "relevant" for advertisers next year. From the comments I've seen, the show was just a pandering leftist circlejerk publicity stunt designed to rile up "conservatives" so they keep this garbage in the news/outrage cycle.
I guess I don't see the point in this stance from Valve then. Some product placements are so jarring that they might as well be direct ads, which is obviously the whole point in including them in games in the first place.
