I have spoken with multiple editors who always say that because the fiction market is 60% female, ALL books MUST target a female audience. The male audience is deemed irrelevant and doesn't matter. and they still say the industry is misogynist.

Furthermore, when books do sell to men and become popular, the big publishers essentially abandon that market to indies. I've had multiple authors report being told by editors that their male-focused story was great but because it was an indie-dominated space the mainstream publishers wouldn't touch it.

Apparently some random Twitch nobody said she was trans and non binary and got a key, lol.

I mean, I wouldn't expect a company to give review keys to someone they know is hostile to their brand. The pathetic part is the pro game journo shills. Does anyone remember the Kane and Lynch Gamespot fiasco? Is there anyone left like that in the industry who calls a turd a turd?

They're clearly shilling this because it's a tranny coded game and they don't want to "let the chuds win." They couldn't care less if the game is actually a good value or not.

HItler was also shocked at their brazen lies and propaganda.

Important to understand that gangsta rappers were mostly LARPers and theatre kids. Ice Cube was middle class. Plenty of black artists resisted the rise of shitty rap and decried it's crass content and lack of musical aptitude. Not like there aren't endless examples of white kids idolizing retarded shitbag musicians too.

RRR was cool though. There should be a redo of the classic Eddie Murphy bit about Italians who watch Rocky and think they're badass.

"Take that white devils!" plink. plink. "Oh you must have just watched RRR."

Reminder that he never got his day in court, he was railroaded into a default judgement.

The court asked for Google analytics data. Jones could not provide that info because Google banned him from the service years prior, and ignored his request to privde the data to the court. So the court ruled a default judgement against him for failure to provide discovery. This is normally only for people who fail to show up. He's the only person who showed up for every court appointment and received a default judgement against him.

Pure corruption and malice. The courts are evil and enemy operated, stay far away if you can.

Important reminder that Asmon is not an organic success, he's not even a twitch partner, his money comes from a streaming agency that promotes him. He is more like an employee than creator.

The amount of on the nose, men describing her feelings to her dialogue, no one talks like that. A woman definitely wrote this.

They did her so dirty. That's a man, baby.

My red flags went up when I saw all the usual suspects giving it glowing marks.

I mean, at least it's a quality game? They didn't fill it with ugly characters, Atlus has an established style and quality and, they didn't gut an existing franchise. If it sells, good for them, but I wonder how many people are aware it's a DEI fairy tale? Besides the name being overly on the nose, I never heard anyone say what the content was really about.

Just funny how the japs are even doing better than the west at making woke trash.

Although the funny thing is audience participation has more effect on wrestling outcomes than any spectator sports. If a wrestler gets a good response from the fans, they will win more matches.

The Scouring of the Shire should have been removed from the book too. Does nothing for the story and kills the ending. His books have so much unnecessary fluff and distracting crap in them, any decent editor could take a hatchet to them and lose nothing.

Rowling usually maintains pretty tight control over her work

I've heard conflicting stories on this. Every author I know gives up all creative control when they license their work. This is required by the studios, they don't make deals with authors who try to retain control. They may make a separate deal for the author to write the screenplay but even this doesn't give control over casting or other production.

Good studios will try to work with the author if they are helping the project. The author can often prove useful in visualizing characters, scenes, settings, etc. where the text is lacking. Rowling is said to have demanded the films include all British cast, to what extent the studio was obligated to listen or simply agreed with her idea is unclear. Rowling is rare in that her name was a marketing asset so having her directly involved in the project was seen as a benefit.

What's really dumb about these characters is, if at least you made them hot babes they might have pushed a few sales. Storm is a well liked character. But they can't even do that. They want to make the characters anti-white AND ugly.

It's really just "Respect for the ballot box." Once people realize elections are kayfabe, the only option left is violence.

Yep. How do you give away $150 million dollars? Who do you give it to? Who distributes it? The answer is NGOs, hilariously named as they are fully staffed and organized by the government.

This is patronage. The system rewarding its friends and punishing its enemies. Nothing more.
