The interesting thing, and whether this is alarming or encouraging is going to depend on your perspective, is that the last decade and a half or so has systematically eroded those first two safeguards for the right as well.

Like Anton Chigurh said in No Country for Old Men, "If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?"

As to your "third door", the right used to be governed by faith. The fear of consequences was primarily the fear of the rule of God, with a dash of fear for the rule of men. Since the institutions of faith have been corrupted by the left, the right are now governed by reason. The fear of the rule of God is almost gone in younger generations, and their fear of the rule of man is quickly eroding.

This powderkeg is set to go off within our lifetimes. The left always doubles down, so there will be no avoiding it. Arm up and be ready because it will be coming for us all.

It's really just "Respect for the ballot box." Once people realize elections are kayfabe, the only option left is violence.

The other option to violence is despair. If they successfully install Kamala the most likely outcome is a Soviet-style decay.

All those conservatives that didn't take food stamps out of pride, that worked two jobs, tried to raise good kids will give up. Take the handouts, show up to work drunk, lie cheat and steal when they can just like leftists.

Ha kayfabe is the word I use too. It's too appropriate. Most people don't understand the term.

One thing I tell people is: Look, they're actually hurting each other. You seen a pro wrestler outside the ring on docu or something? Yeah.

Although the funny thing is audience participation has more effect on wrestling outcomes than any spectator sports. If a wrestler gets a good response from the fans, they will win more matches.

Larry Corriea explains this by using a light switch as a metaphor for describing how the right views violence, and why they are so reluctant to "flip the switch."

https://monsterhunternation.com/2018/11/19/the-2nd-amendment-is-obsolete-says-congressman-who-wants-to-nuke-omaha/

It permanently destroys who that person is from before the light switch is thrown. There is no going back from it, and flipping that switch is a one way descent into violence the likes this country hasn't seen in over 100 years. It will be up close, brutish, nasty, and no one is prepared for it, as much as they think they are. It will be entire families brutally murdered in their homes, snipers shooting people in the head over, and over again.

It will be Yugoslavia times Rwanda times a thousand.

And here is the scary part: I firmly believe the left thinks we won't do it. They aren't wrong to think that, because we haven't yet, and the right has tolerated orders of magnitude more infringements than the revolutionaries in Colonial America did, and we haven't figuratively stood our ground and had it out at our modern day Concord, MA.

Those same revolutionaries would have started shooting nearly 100 years ago, if not earlier, because of what FDR was doing.

I agree. This type of violence the US has been spared from for its existence. Even our civil war wasn’t really a normal civil war, instead it was a war between two powerful nations. A real civil war/unrest period has soldiers going door to door, executing some people for a single reason. It has mass civilian killings and terrorism, it’s overall a horrific experience that I don’t think anyone wants, except for a few psychos.

From wapo a couple of links in:

Several studies reveal substantial innumeracy in estimating the size of African American, Hispanic, immigrant and gay and lesbian populations.

Le 13%, duh, maybe 12 now.

30% of people are hispanic.

Out gay men are 2% of the population. I have no idea about lesbians.

That was all off the top of my head. IDK how I did.

If you could be absolutely guaranteed to not spend a second in jail or a single dime in defense, you could get away with it scott free with no consequences at all, would you be willing to walk up to him and put a bullet in his head for just being who he is and believing what he does?" you would get zero or nearly zero people on the Right saying yes to that.

That's never been true. Deep in the woods around the campfire, far away from the streetlights, people on the right, after a few beers or some moonshine, have always been saying that democrats (and therefore leftists) need a good killin. They have been saying that for as long as i have been alive. They say it less now, because of the ever present threat of smartphones, but they still say it far from electronic devices.

In fact the entire concept of a "good killin" is something that has been lost in the last 70 years. Previously, everyone in town knew that some fuckers were gonna get what's coming to them eventually. And when those fuckers turned up dead, everyone just shrugged their shoulders and said, "It was a good killin".

Which leaves only the very last lock. The right still doesn't use political violence because we know that we'll get in trouble if we do. We don't own all of the prosecutor offices, mayors, police chiefs, politicians, and so forth. If we do it, no matter how small, they will absolutely destroy our lives and we know it.

The answer to this is simple: don't get caught. Think about things, and then if you figure something out, never tell anybody, never use internet searches, never write anything down.

I'm not trying to burst your bubble, OP, but political violence is clearly becoming quite normalized. Frankly, since 2016, interpersonal random political violence was normal against anyone who wore a red hat due to the massive apologetics for Antifa. This included kicks to the head, stick beating, mace attacks, being punched in the head with brass knuckles, and more.

Then with the 2020 Summer of Love Riots we had an open insurrection and attack on the White House on May 29th, mass race rioting, open support for ethnic hatred attacks, the Red Terror Campaign against Canadian Catholics, the support of inter-personal violence from Covid, street take-overs, several calls for mass ethnic violence, secessionist movements in several Leftist cities, public protests with armed racist communist militias (The Not Fucking Around Coalition if you remember those guys), IED attacks on federal court houses, and hostages being punted in the head, Antifa activists gunning people down in the street, and much, much, more.

After this, things have gotten much more serious. 30% of people in Washington DC believe anyone accused of a crime on January 6th should be executed. Another 30% of Democrats believed that during Covid, if you didn't get an injection, you should be forcibly removed from your home, placed into a camp, and forcibly injected. Since the October 7th attacks on Hamas we've witnessed the Left openly celebrate mass murder, genocide, and terrorism. They explicitly celebrated killing civilians and children which their terrorist groups openly broadcasted. Academicians have explicitly said that calls for genocide are allowed on campus (which was never offered to TPUSA when they said that there were 2 genders). They have been repeatedly calling for genocide against jews, and are very favorable towards collective racial, ethnic, and religious punishment. We have seen two major assassination attempts on Donald Trump (both were popularly supported by the Left). I think 23% of Democrats said that the country would be better off id Donald Trump was dead.

From a Leftist analysis, Trotsky and Lenin have very specific arguments about what types of political terrorism was correct. They basically said that terrorism was good IF AND ONLY IF it was conducted within the direction of the party, as part of a larger objective. The political violence we saw from 2016-2021 was all informally suggested. It was about supporting generalized outbursts of violence that couldn't be directly tied to the party. This is the kind of logic that gets used to justify more authoritarian measures to "protect civility and order" by intentionally encouraging disorder among the criminal class. However, in 2024, the political violence is less in quantity, but it seems to be more openly popular and openly embraced. It appears that although the level of violence has gone down, the support for political violence in the Leftist intelligentsia and among their apparatchiks have significantly increased.

I was very worried several years ago that Trump supporters and Trump protestors could easily get machine-gunned, Apartheid South Africa style, in a large peaceful protest where the government sought to send a message to intimidate dissent. I predicted that it would cause major blowback. That never panned out because January 6th was about as close as that got, but due to the level of non-violent conduct among the Trump supporters, we didn't see cops just shooting a thousand live rounds into a crowd... despite Nancy Pelosi demanding M240's being mounted on roof-tops.

I fear that we are actually closer to that now with less violence, but far more popular support among The Party to commit such an act. Such an act of violence couldn't be any more stupid for them, but I feel like it's a real possibility at this point. There's no reason to believe a schizo, blue-anon, cop wouldn't just scream "THEY'RE GONNA JAN 6 US!" and start mag-dumping a crowd during a Trump inauguration. Even though congress made it illegal, I am seriously wondering if Kamala Harris may refuse to count the electors, or recognize them. If thousands of law enforcement descended on the inauguration after a mass police shooting, and began arresting tens of thousands of people with extreme violence, would the media do anything but openly support it? I really don't think so. I think the establishment has gotten used to the taste of blood in their mouth at this point.

Before J6, someone from The Donald came here and told everyone not to go to the inauguration because he feared violence. I remember telling him that that would be silly because all it would be is your average Trump rally. I think that warning is even more important now. I would prefer if no one attended the Trump inauguration, because I feel like the government is probably more accepting now of open blood-letting than before.

As for a Civil War, frankly we've past that point. I think we're actually less likely to have one now more than in the past 8 years because the right actually seems to be properly winning the culture war, and the regime is becoming more and more illegitimate.

In his first paragraph he already shows he didn't read anything but is answering to something he made up in his head.

Then just the usual drivel to pretend that he's one of the guys who is totally with us tihihi. Then finally his actual concern: The jews are being attacked.

Just treat him as a JIDF-bot. Even if he is an actual human, he might just aswell be.

I don't have a lot to add, but thank you for this big post regardless, OP.

I couldn't pinpoint when I passed by these three locks myself, but I would guarantee it happened in the last 8 years since Trump was elected. It was like I saw people who I trusted to play by the "rules of the game" suddenly started pulling knives while out in the field and trying to shank other players. It was very eye-opening.

I was raised Default Liberal, mostly (unsurprisingly) by a bleeding-heart Boomer feminist, so watching "my own side" suddenly decide that violence not only okay but justified was a bit of a shock. Trolling dumb gay Tumblrinas slowly morphed into recognizing a distinct psychological difference between me and them, and all the Gamergate stuff that had been ramping up basically catapulted me into where I am now. I'm a "blow up in anger to put it back where it was" kind of temper, and that third lock is basically all I have left.

People I've known since childhood are now just ideological enemies. I've seen their posts, read their letters, overheard their conversations. I feel like I'm surrounded by Pod People, and the moral and philosophical conundrum of old friends turning into dangerous enemies has been painful and upsetting. I just wanted to play video games, work an unambitious job, and be left alone. Now, I'll be sad if I don't get a history chapter written about me specifically.

be left alone

I can't stress this enough. So much of the liberal philosophy is about the government forcibly inserting itself in your life; an omnipresent nanny state and moral busybody.

Look at England, and how they are now jailing people for wrongthink and letting actual criminals out to make room for them to see the insanity they are peddling.

When shit goes down it will likely be because enough people have just reach their limit and finally decided that it's so intolerable that they have to put a stop to it.

Its just like GG itself was: Absolutely nothing happens until the moment where a critical mass of people are so angry that they don't give a shit if they're the only one standing up, and they stand up. The magic happens when those people then look around and see all the others standing. Then they all click and the shit hits the fan.

"See that commie with blue hair and gauged ears screaming about tearing down capitalism and white power structures? If you could be absolutely guaranteed to not spend a second in jail or a single dime in defense, you could get away with it scott free with no consequences at all, would you be willing to walk up to him and put a bullet in his head for just being who he is and believing what he does?" you would get zero or nearly zero people on the Right saying yes to that.

That's because some random nobody screaming at clouds isn't perceived to be a threat. Put the commie in a position of power, where they're a clear danger and the response rate will shift. One of the defining characteristics of the mid-Right is live-and-let-live personal freedom up until the line is crossed. For better or worse, the commie is free to be a retard until he comes for them.
