I think this is an interesting microcosm of what it would take to cleanse almost all social institutions in the West. You'd have to completely gut every single one of them, and so many grifters would be out on their ass, it would probably outnumber the remaining useful people.

It would be an enormous task to go through everything with a fine toothed comb, and you'd have to do it all at once lest the rot spread elsewhere. I think it's the kind of thing that could only be done by a totalitarian system, because you'd have to invest so much power in someone at the top to cover all bases without being impeded by democratic systems.

It's the same reason why men occupy almost all positions of note in human history.

We are spread much wider across the genetic bell curve than women, so there are many more exceptional men and also many more complete failures. Women cluster much closer to the average in almost all measurable aspects.

As for why people want women in the kitchen? Running a household is a cooperative task, so you have to spread the work in some fashion. Usually the husband is the breadwinner, which means he's busy elsewhere most of the day. This leaves the wife responsible for general housekeeping, including cooking.

How much of his actual wealth does this constitute? How serious is he about this offer? If it is serious, I do wonder what he stands to gain from twitter in a material sense. I don't believe he's doing this for ideological reasons alone.

You too man, God bless you.

I see, thank you for your comprehensive answer.

I have a feeling I know the answer already, but to your knowledge did the Saud's ever have to deal with the criminal problems that African migrants tend to bring? I expect they are a lot less tolerant of misbehaviour over there.

To be honest, freedom HAS to be weaponised and jealously guarded, because it's so fragile.

This is a really good comment. You never see people who subscribe to Marxist philosophy following it through to its logical conclusion; I think that's because it terrifies them.

I think that's kind of a disrespectful thing to say. Wales is absolutely its own country, and has its own identity that shouldn't be infringed upon by globohomo.

Do I get a day or two off because of the systematic dismantling of the nation that my ancestors built? No? Alright then.

I mean they're right, but not in the way that they think.

Man, if I had it I would give it to you. I remember I had to get a negative test for my American fiancee to allow her to return to the US, but I can't find the text on my phone. I must have deleted it. Good luck though man, I know how it feels to put up with this bullshit.

Man, HP makes the best laptops on the market in my experience. As someone who is not very kind to his laptops, HP's have stood up to the abuse and lasted longer than any other brand.

Guess I'll have to try another brand when I look for a new one (although chances are most tech companies are going to follow suit at this rate).

I listened to a very interesting podcast about what happened during the original Hurricane Katrina in 06. Of course I was only aware of the narrative presented by the news media at the time, but it's interesting how much messed up stuff actually went on behind the scenes. Apparently a lot of scores were settled between the police and gangsters after law and order broke down and there was no federal oversight i.e. executions without trial.

This is an absolutely unnecessary tragedy, of course, and I pray for the souls of those marines and their families. However, the bereaved can take some solace in the fact that their loved ones died doing just about the only worthwhile thing America has ever done in Afghanistan, and that's getting the hell out of it.

When a child asks 'What did my father die for?', at least the families of these marines will have a better answer than those who died before them.

He's referring to the culture of European Americans in America, which has clearly become a well-defined thing over the past two centuries.

Also, let's not get into in-fighting amongst our brethren again, shall we? We can't afford to. Our enemies will see us as white, regardless of whether we come from America or Europe. That alone should tell you that we have something in common that's worth defending together.

Oh no, some people might have to stay home with the sniffles for a week. Truly a travesty.

I wonder if they knew that the Afghanistan pull-out was going to be a debacle, and Biden was the designated patsy to have it happen during his term. Then he can go on to be replaced by someone they actually want.

I don't want equity at all. As I mentioned, I am perfectly willing to accept hierarchy. Some will do better than others, as nature intends. It's not 'fair', but trying to fix it will only lead to destruction, as the 20th century has shown us. What I want is a return to sanity. My politics would be completely mainstream in Europe or America any time before 1965.

He's talking about equal outcomes there. If earth and humanity were not flawed, all would be equal in a divine sort of way, but since that's not the case, it's not possible in reality.
